Dembele: "This is my third time in the World Cup semi-finals, it's pure joy"

Ousmane Dembele, one of the scorers in France's 2-0 victory over Morocco in the World Cup quarter-finals, said he was very happy and that his team was extremely focused on the match.

"We are very happy. We were extremely focused on this match. This will be my third World Cup semi-final with the French national team. It is pure joy, a real pleasure," said Dembele, as reported by the International Football Federation (FIFA) website.

Dembele scored his team's second goal in the match, assisted by Kylian Mbappe. "Two or three minutes before my goal, Kylian told me to stay in the middle. He made a great run that opened the way for me. I really wanted to take a precise shot and see the ball go into the net. I'm happy," said Dembele, who became only the third French player in history to score five or more goals at a World Cup.

France will face the winner of the match between Spain and Belgium in the semi-finals in Arlington. "We remain focused on what's next," said Dembele.
