The Norwegian national football team achieved a historic result at the World Cup, reaching the quarter-finals, where they were stopped by England after extra time (2:1).
Even before the start of the World Cup, it was believed that the Norwegians could achieve a good result, and in the end, the predictions were correct, and Haaland and his teammates made history and ultimately found a place among the top eight in the world.
After the elimination, the Norwegians arrived home. And it was not an ordinary, but a spectacular welcome. First, the Norwegian delegation's plane was escorted by the Royal Air Force upon landing, and then they were greeted by the King himself at the Royal Palace. The players passed through the guard of honor and joined the fans.
And they were welcomed by about a hundred thousand fans!
The players performed the famous Viking rowing choreography with the fans. The pace was set personally by the Crown Prince, Haakon Magnus, who accompanied the team to several matches and also interacted with the fans in front of the palace in a similar way after reaching the quarterfinals.
The Norwegians have once again amazed the world.
