The recognizable blue, green and red shades are becoming a thing of the past - the new look of the ball is ready for the World Cup finale.
Adidas and FIFA have unveiled the new "Trionda", as the official match ball of the 2026 World Cup is called, for the semi-finals, the match for 3rd place and the final.
The new colors on the ball that will first roll tonight at 21pm in Dallas when the European classic between France and Spain is played are gold, white and black. As they explained, in honor of the "Golden Goddess" - the trophy that the new world champion receives.
What is important for players is that, apart from the visual aspect, they will not have to get used to the new ball because the "trionda final" retains the same performance as the one used so far.
The new ball also wants to thank the World Cup hosts in a way, so it features the names of all the cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico where the games were played, while graphic details particularly highlight Atlanta, Dallas, Miami and New York/New Jersey - the places where the remaining matches will be played.
Adidas previously announced the price of the new ball on its website - the Trionda Final costs 160 euros.
Who will be lucky with the new ball - France or Spain (tonight, 21 p.m.), England or Argentina (tomorrow, 21 p.m.)?
