The Governing Board of the University of Montenegro adopted a decision on the accreditation of the new study program "Teaching Mathematics and Informatics in Primary School" at the Faculty of Science

The University of Montenegro announced that this body, at its session in Nikšić yesterday, made decisions that "open up new opportunities for faculties and students."

Particularly important for future students, as they said, is the accreditation of the aforementioned study program, which, they explain, prepares future teachers for the creative and practical application of mathematics and computer science in primary education, developing skills for innovative teaching and the needs of the modern labor market.

The Board of Directors also made a decision to re-accredit the "Business and Economics" (MONTEB) program at the Faculty of Economics, which is implemented in English. The program, they said, provides students with comprehensive knowledge in economics and business, with a special emphasis on analytical and research skills, practical application of knowledge, and preparation for the global labor market.

"The session also discussed other important issues, including personnel and financial aspects, planning for continuous professional development of internal auditors, and a review of the implementation of activities and execution of audit plans for the previous year," the UCG announced.

During their stay in Nikšić, members of the UCG Board of Directors visited the Faculty of Philology and Philosophy, as well as the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, where they learned about the daily work and development activities of the faculty through discussions with the management and employees.
