American actress Tanya Roberts, who gained world fame with her roles in the James Bond film "A View to Murder" and the last season of the "Charlie's Angels" series, has died at the age of 65.
The news of the actress' death was announced by her friend and agent Mike Pingel, who called her "the sweetest person you could ever meet."
In addition to starring alongside Roger Moore in the last film in which he played James Bond, she also played roles in the adventure films Sheena: Queen of the Jungle and Lord of the Beasts.

In recent years, she also played a notable role in the series "The Happy Seventies".
The actress collapsed while walking her dog on December 24, after which she was admitted to Cedar Sign Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The cause of death was not announced on Sunday, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, it was not related to Covid-19.
She was born as Victoria Leigh Bloom in 1955, grew up in New York and moved to Hollywood in 1977.
She broke into the acting world after joining Jacqueline Smith and Sheryl Ladd, replacing Shelley Hack in the series Charlie's Angels, as the "third angel" - Julie.
After the series ended, Roberts appeared in fantasy adventure films such as Beastmaster and Heart and Armor.
She also played the heroine from the comics - Sina, in the 1984 screen adaptation.
For that role, she was nominated for the Golden Raspberry in the category - worst actress, the nomination was repeated for the role of geologist Stacey Sutton in one of the sequels to the James Bond film - A View of Murder from 1985.
She admitted that she was "a bit dubious" about accepting the role, but added that it would have been "ridiculous" if she turned it down.

Brick Eckland, Bond's girlfriend from the 1974 film "The Man with the Golden Gun" also starring Roger Moore, said goodbye to her co-star.
"Rest in peace Tanya Roberts," the Swedish actress wrote on Twitter.
“Once a Bond girl, always a Bond girl!” she added.
The director of the movie Lord of the Beasts - Don Koscareli, will remember her as a "wonderful person".
"I will always remember Tanja as an incredibly sweet person, as well as for her sincere love for animals," Coscarelli wrote on Twitter.
