The long-awaited special continuation of the series "Friends" finally got a premiere date and a trailer, the release of which was delayed several times due to the corona virus pandemic.
Series "Friends: The Gathering" will be available on the HBO Max streaming service from May 27, having reunited the cast from the original cast.
This series is one of the biggest sitcoms of the nineties, which was broadcast until 2004.
It got a new generation of fans thanks to reruns and streaming services like Netflix.

The original cast consists of three actresses and three actors: Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matthew Perry (Chander), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and David Schwimmer (Ross).
The continuation of the series will feature Maggie Wheeler (Janice), James Michael Tyler (Gunter), Reese Witherspoon (Jill) and Tom Selleck (Richard), as well as Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles who play the parents of Ross and Monica, Jack and Judy.
Celebrities who will also appear in the sequel include David Beckham, Lady Gaga, members of BTS, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling, James Corden, Malala Yousafzai and Justin Bieber.
In the trailer announcing the sequel released on Thursday, the six actors walk together, to the famous song from the series "I'll be here for you" ("I'll Be There For You.""), performed by the band THey Rembrandts.
Rumors about the actors reuniting and filming the series began back in November 2019.
The broadcast was announced in May 2020, but due to the corona virus pandemic, the production was postponed for a year.
The sequel was filmed last month on the original set at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, live in front of an audience.
Jennifer Aniston posted the trailer on Instagram and wrote: “Now it's official! 'Friends: The Gathering' will premiere on May 27th on HBOMax - we're so excited?!".
