One rescuer said he had never seen dogs raise the alarm in his career like this pair of Labradors did when their owner passed out during a walk.
One dog stayed with its XNUMX-year-old owner who lost consciousness near Keswick in northwest England, while the other ran off barking after hikers in the distance.
Rob Grange from Keswick Mountain Rescue said that he and his colleagues have been trying to train dogs to act like these two brave four-legged heroes for years.
But, as he said, he had never heard of a case like this - that untrained dogs could save a man in this way.

The rescue service said the black Labrador was running in an "unbelievable way" after the hiker who was passing in the distance.
The dog barked loudly, beckoning her to come back.
The hiker turned and saw another dog, a golden retriever, lying next to the man.
The woman called an ambulance, which took the man to the hospital.
"It's wonderful to see how dogs do it completely instinctively.
"Our dogs do the same, but we train them for years to awaken those innate instincts to be reliable helpers," Grange told the BBC.
It's not unusual for a dog to do something like that, but it's wonderful when an untrained dog does it, he added.
"I've been in this business for 10 years and I've really never seen anything like it," Grange said.
