A group of feminists protested on the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival against violence against women.
They threw smoke bombs and held their fists in the air as they carried a banner inscribed with the names of the 129 women they claim have been killed in France since the festival took place last year.
The protest was held before the premiere of an Iranian film Holy spider.
Two days earlier, a protest against sexual violence was also held on the red carpet.

At the premiere of the film Three thousand years of longing on Friday, the woman stripped to reveal a message written on her body that read;
"Stop raping us".
Next to the inscription were the colors of the Ukrainian flag, and she had red paint on her underwear.
Film Holy spider was described by the Hollywood site Deadline as a feminist thriller about a woman who finds a man who kills prostitutes.
It is based on the true story of Said Hanaei, who said he killed 16 women in 2000 and 2001 "in the name of God and to protect the faith, because the women were prostitutes and corrupted other people."
The protests made headlines during the festival, which is attended by some of the world's leading filmmakers and actors.
At this year's event, among others, Tom Cruise's sequel was shown Top Gana and Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic.
