"All the good things you may have thought of him are true," he said.
Villager Diana King was in the pub with her husband Jason when Reeves arrived.
She says she didn't believe it was Keanu Reeves at first.
"Of course I had to go up to him and ask him 10 times if it was really him," she says.
He adds that Reeves and the people he sat with are "wonderful".
"My husband and I are still excited about it, it was a great honor to meet such a kind man," she says.
Reeves has starred in many famous films, including Just Not You, The Day the Earth Stood Still and Crime in the Waves, as well as the John Wick franchise.

Ricks adds that the actor was joined by six other people with whom he discussed the scripts.
“Then I realized it was actually him, I had to look twice when he came.
"I thought it was just someone who looked a lot like Keanu Reeves," Ricks says.
The manager of the pub adds that the actor ordered "Caesar salad to start and then falafel".
He states that his colleague Laura James and he managed to "remain professional" until the end of the visit.
"We took a picture with him at the end.
"He was absolutely wonderful, and his visit made everyone's evening," he said.
