Sarah Keith organized the last walk for 12-year-old Kerusha Ella, who was diagnosed with throat cancer.
She wanted Ella to have a special send-off, so on Facebook she invited fellow citizens who have dogs to join them on the beach in Bridlington, a town in the north-east of England, on the coast of the North Sea.
Many responded without thinking twice.
"It was the best day for her and the worst for me," Sara says.

Sara decided to come to this beach because it is Ella's favorite place, where they often came before.
"I've got loads of photos of her from here," Sarah says.
She was touched because so many people showed up with their pets to say goodbye to Ella.
"It was amazing," says Sarah.
Watching Ella play with the other dogs, Sarah added: “She's in her element. She forgot I was here."
A few hours later, Ela died in Sara's arms.
