"Beachkeepers" is on the TV, and in front of it are two black leather armchairs - Joey sits on one and turns to the other, intended for his best friend.
But the chair is empty.
This photo from one of the episodes of the series A friendi flooded social networks and media over the weekend, because Chandler is gone.
Actor Matthew Perry, who played the sarcastic Chandler for all 10 seasons of one of the most watched and influential television series, has died at the age of 54.
For years he struggled with addiction to alcohol and painkillers, he went to rehab countless times, and recently he suffered from a number of health problems.

Clips followed on social networks in which Chandler goes into the unknown, accompanied by a chicken and a duck, and fans Friends in front of the building in New York where the characters in the series lived, they leave flowers.
Because it's Chandler, whose sarcastic comments generations grew up with.
We watched him growing up, before and after school, during college and as a copywriter - when, during endless channel rotation, he stumbles upon Friends, that's where it stays.
That's why we present to you five reasons why Chandler is many people's favorite Friend.
Sarcasm
Oh, so much sarcasm.
Did Ross go to the solarium... In the Sun?!
Australopithecus during this time was never fully upright (erect) because he may have been nervous, while the world is small, but Chandler never ran into singer Beyoncé.
Or the response when Ross complains that he has to choose between Rachel and Julie on the love front.
"Yeah, it must be very hard... 'Oh no, two women love me, they're both gorgeous and sexy, my wallet's too small for $50 bills, and my diamond shoes are blistering'!"

Perry is in the memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, published in 2022, wrote about the great similarities he has with Chandler.
As soon as he received the script, he realized that the role was ideal for him.
"It was as if someone had been following me for a year, stealing my face, copying my movements and my strange view of the world.
"I didn't think then that I could play Chandler... I was Chandler."
One of the most famous quotes explains everything.
"I'm not good with advice, are you interested in a sarcastic comment?"
Uncertainty
Chandler was so loved because of his insecurities, which most viewers could identify with.
"Hi, I'm Chandler, I joke when I'm uncomfortable."
At the beginning of the series, Chandler had a hard time connecting with others, due to childhood fears and growing up with divorced parents.
He didn't even know how to talk to girls - something that plagues many twenty-somethings - and he was afraid of being alone.
"I'm hopeless, weird, and desperate for love," he says in one episode.
In reality, Peri was similar.
During the filming of the series, he was in a relationship with the famous actress Julia Roberts, who then appeared in To friends.

They were together for six months, and Perry describes in his memoirs how they corresponded for a long time before that, and that because of her messages, he felt "that she exists only to make the world laugh".
"The way she put together sentences, the way she saw the world, the way she articulated thoughts were so amazing," he wrote in his memoirs.
That's why, he writes, he often sat by the fax machine and waited for her message to arrive or ran home from other meetings only to listen to the answering machine.
When they exchanged phone numbers, the first conversation lasted more than five hours.
They were together from the end of 1995 to April 1996.
"Dating Julia Roberts was too much for me.
"I was constantly sure she was going to leave me and, rather than face the inevitable agony of possibly losing her, I broke up with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Roberts."
Love
In the following seasons, Chandler has come a long way.
Between the fears of being with someone and constant meetings with Janice - always in the worst possible situations - he reached Kathy, with whom he had his first new relationship.
Cathy is an actress who was in a relationship with Joey, but Chandler fell in love with her.
Although their kiss seriously threatened his friendship with Joey, everything was, of course, resolved after several hours of being in a large wooden box.
That breakup was painful, but it was all the way to Monica and their initially secret relationship, which many people quickly found out about, even though they might not have wanted to.
"My eyes, my eyes," Phoebe screamed when she saw them together, later the prime mover in trying to get Chandler to admit he was with Monica, because "they don't know that we know that they know that we know (they don't know that we know they know we know) ".
That's how their love was born - Mondler - one of the most famous in television history.
There was everything, from the turkeys on his head, with all the glasses, when he first told her he loved her, to the fears of whether Monica would end up with Richard in the end.
They won't - a few seasons later Monica and Chandler got married, when the fans of the series were delighted.
But Perry did not remember that day fondly.
"After filming that scene, they took me back to rehab - at the height of my role and career, at a famous moment in a famous series," he wrote.
He admitted that due to his addiction, he does not remember filming three seasons of the series at all.
He also wanted to become a father, he writes in his memoirs, but that did not happen.
In 2020, he got engaged to Molly Hurwitz, but they broke up in 2021.
That's why it's in To friends everything was idyllic, despite the obstacles and problems.
He and Monica could not have children, but they had twins through a surrogate mother and moved to the suburbs.
Joey, of course, got his room.
Friendship
Chandler and Joey's friendship marked modern television.
He couldn't be interrupted either by the awkward situation around Kathy, or by that huge gold bracelet that Joey gave to the dumbfounded Chandler as a sign of gratitude.
They could make out when they wanted to, like when Chandler was stuck in a room with a hot model due to a power outage.
They watched Beach guards, played foosball, won Monica's apartment and lost it in just a few minutes ("it was worth it"), went to watch the New York Knicks and took care of the chicken and duck.
Everyone wanted a friendship and relationship like these two.
Because he's... Well, Chandler
Ultimately, because Chandler Bing is responsible for so many great memories.
Because of mis-delivered cheesecakes that shouldn't be eaten, but how can you resist.
Of all the moments when Janice's "Oh... My... God!"
Because he flaps his arms when he dances, because he touched a woman's breast for the first time at the age of 19, and he doesn't cry at sad scenes in movies.
It deals statistical analysis and data reconfiguration, his deliveries arrive "on Miss Chenandler Bong" and he has always been there.
Not really for some useful advice, but always for a sarcastic comment.
