The cat survived a journey of more than 1.200 kilometers after sneaking into the engine of a van.
Siamese cat Jasmine went missing from the town of Weston-on-Mare on Tuesday and has traveled all over the south west of England and Wales.
Two days later, a driver happened to spot her when he opened the hood to refill the windshield wiper fluid - he found the cat curled up next to the engine and looking at him.
He took her to the vet in Devon, where they called owner Laura Till.
"I cried when I took it," she said.

The driver of the van, Jeff Bohrer, told the BBC that he had been cruising around the country delivering packages for three days and that the cat was with him under the hood the whole time.
"Unbelievable. "She's a beautiful cat and she didn't seem scared at all, she was just happy," Burer added.
'Big relief'
Laura Thiel says she became concerned Tuesday night when her eight-year-old Siamese cat didn't come home for dinner.
"She's very shy and it's very unusual for her to go that far," she says.
When the vet called her, loading the data from the microchip, Till was on her way to flood the neighborhood with notices that her kitty was missing.
"I was so relieved when the vet called me," she says.
"I've had her since she was a kitten, before I met my partner. She's my fur baby."
During the adventure, the cat traveled through different towns on the Welsh border and ended up in Devon.
Fortunately, the driver discovered her in time.
The cat was fine, the only thing was that it had been without water for days.
Till says Jasmine is back to regular napping activities and her three-year-old son is overjoyed to be home.
