Years of speculation about who could be the new James Bond could soon be put to an end, after the announcement that the role was offered to British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
British tabloid San reported that the actor is best known for two Kick-Ass film, Tenet, Bullet speed (Bullet train), as well as appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, officially offered the job of agent 007, which until now was in the hands of Daniel Craig.
Craig left the role in 2021, after five films in 16 years.
So far, 25 Bond films have been released, and the last one No Time To Die, was released in 2021.

The BBC contacted Taylor-Johnson and the production company Eon Productions (Eon Productions), who works on James Bond films.
When asked about the rumors that he will be the next 007 agent, Taylor-Johnson was recently in favor Number stated that it is "charming and wonderful" that people see him in that role.
"I take that as a great compliment," he said.

One of the favorites so far was Henry Cavill, known for his role as Superman and the series The Witcher, who stated in 2020 that he would "love to play Bond".
"It would be very, very exciting," he stated.
One of the candidates is 32-year-old Damson Idris, best known for the American crime drama White (Snowfall), as well as 38-year-old James Norton, who starred in the film Little women from 2019, as well as series McMafia i Happy Valley.
Speculations that he could be the new Bond, Norton called 2018 exactly that - "speculations", adding that he was honored by them.
Tom Hardy, Idris Elba and Chris Evans were also previously mentioned.
