"Unexpected and unrealistic".
This is how Holly Middleton describes the transformation her pug went through in 18 months: from Britain's "ugliest" dog to a Hollywood star.
Peggy appears in the latest Marvel superhero movie "Deadpool and Wolverine" with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
The five-year-old pug got a role in the film after he became famous in 2023 when he was announced the ugliest dog at the national competition.

"Never in my wildest dreams did I think something like this would happen," said Middleton, from East Yorkshire in the UK.
"When we registered her for the competition, I couldn't even imagine that she would make it this far.
"I didn't think it would be a big deal, and later it turned out that it was," she added.
Peggy is supposed to appear in the cinema in the city of Hull, where her fans should also gather.
Although she gained great popularity, her owner says that Pegi has not changed her behavior at home.
On the contrary, she is mostly "reserved and lazy", but thanks to the trainer who took care of her during the filming of the film, she gained "a little more self-confidence".
"She's still just plain old Peggy," says Middleton.
The 37-year-old makeup artist says they missed Peggy while she was on set.
"It was really strange that she wasn't there. My sons also missed her.
"We didn't tell them where it was. We also kept everything secret. I'm glad she's back," Middleton said.
It was "amazing" to attend Peggy's premiere in New York on the red carpet in the company of Hollywood stars, says Middleton.
"I am delighted. She was relaxed the whole time, as many would be if they were being pampered by Ryan Reynolds.
"You can see that they love her a lot and were very attentive. They kissed and caressed her head.
"I was very glad to see her like that. She seemed relaxed and happy," added Pega's owner.

For now, there are no new film roles for this pug, and he also likes to rest at home.
"She's a family pet and loves cuddling with us on the couch and in her own bed," says Middleton.
Despite her worldwide recognition, her owner says that Peggy is "like other dogs from the area", although she loves attention and is used to socializing with people.
"Comments on the Internet are positive and favorable to her, saying she is beautiful.
"Even before this, she attracted attention with her appearance, but then people wondered 'what's wrong with her.'
"People's perception of Pega changed for the better after this film," she added.
