Controversial British influencer Andrew Tate, who has been under investigation by the Romanian authorities for more than a year on various charges, including rape and human trafficking, is now in a new problem.

A court in Romania has ordered Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan to be detained for a month while prosecutors investigate new charges against them, including sex with underage girls.

He and his brother, Tristan Tate, appeared in court Thursday to be ordered to house arrest for up to 30 days.

Prosecutors launched a new investigation into 35 alleged victims, including a girl who was 15 at the time she allegedly had sex with an unnamed foreign national.

A total of six people, Romanians and foreigners, were detained, according to the announcement of the Romanian Agency for the Fight against Organized Crime. (DIICOT).

The case against me is “deceit and lies. This is a set-up and it's absolutely disgusting," Tate said, furiously addressing reporters.

"Thirty girls say we didn't do anything wrong. Among them are two who are the mothers of our children, and the other two have never been to Romania," he said.

Tate refused to answer questions from the BBC about allegations he had sex with a 15-year-old girl and about child trafficking.

The Tate brothers have previously been accused of human trafficking.

Andrew Tate is also accused of rape, and the trial is still expected.

A year ago they were released from house arrest and told not to leave Romania.

From the beginning, they categorically denied that they had committed any crime.

However, new allegations have now surfaced against them.

The Organized Crime Agency says it claims the defendants recruited "vulnerable" people, who they then took to various locations and forced them to produce pornographic material for online broadcast.

One of the foreigners is accused of forcing a 17-year-old foreign citizen to perform sexual acts in order to make video content.

He is said to have kept all of the $1,5 million profit. The statement did not mention his name.

The same man is accused of repeatedly having sexual relations with a girl who was 15 years old when they met.

After hours of questioning by the Organized Crime Agency, Tate told the BBC that the latest allegations were "pathetic" and that prosecutors were "desperate".

He added that they made up too many things, such as that he manipulated the mother of his children with the help of a technique used by criminals to find vulnerable people and then exploit them.

A notorious misogynist with a large following on social media, he wrote on the social network ix that it is a "usual conspiracy to silence him".

A new statement says that the Tate brothers are accused of buying four luxury cars registered to other people, in order to hide the proceeds of their illegal activities.

Then, through sexual exploitation, they earned about 2,8 million dollars, it is stated.

They are also accused of trying to intimidate victims and witnesses.

During a 10-hour search of their four properties on Wednesday, money was seized, along with other items such as valuable watches, laptops, CDs, documents, as well as 16 luxury cars.

The Tate brothers were taken into custody late Wednesday night after questioning, along with four Romanian nationals.
