Dave Grohl, the frontman of the Foo Fighters group, boasted on Instagram that he had become the father of a "girl born out of wedlock".
The fifty-five-year-old musician wants to be a "loving and supportive parent".
This is his fourth child, since the musician has three daughters with his wife Jordyn Blum, with whom he has been married since 2003.

Grohl also added that he "loves the family and is doing everything he can to regain their trust and get their forgiveness."
"Together we move on," he wrote.
The musician did not reveal any details about who the mother of his child is, and he turned off comments on the post.
Blum, Grohl's wife, worked as a TV producer and model.
He was previously married to photographer Jennifer Lee Youngblood, and the marriage broke up in 1997 due to his infidelity.
Grohl played drums in the band Nirvana from 1990 until 1994, when singer Kurt Cobain died at the age of 27.
Then he founded Fu Fighters, with whom he recorded numerous albums and hit singles.
