A British artist who creates realistic oil paintings of eggs that his partner fries for breakfast has sold more than 600 works so far.
When Daniel Halksworth started painting food, he didn't expect to end up making a living from egg yolks.
Thanks to art, the 43-year-old, who lives in Sheffield, has gained 41.000 followers on social media.
His work now graces the walls of egg lovers around the world and was even featured in an ad for the 2024 Superbowl, America's most important sporting event.

For most of his life, Halksworth has been involved in art, but an old painting he made in his parents' house completely changed the trajectory of his career.
One day he decided to paint common objects, such as shoes, bathroom faucets, a sandwich and - a fried egg.
During the isolation during the corona virus pandemic, he started selling works after his girlfriend lost her job.
"She sold a lot of her clothes to pay the rent, and I started exhibiting the pieces online," he says.
Halksworth said he sold one egg painting quickly, but new requests kept coming in.
His partner suggested that he simply paint another one and offered to fry an egg for inspiration.
Now, four years later, he has painted 615 works with the main motif of fried eggs in various forms and variants.
When he uses them for inspiration, the girl, he and their dog Sid eat the eggs.
"We eat eggs several times a week, usually with avocado or spinach on toast," says this artist.
"Sid usually jumps around the pan impatiently, so he gets some too," he adds.
According to an "egg map" made by his girlfriend, Halsworth's works have been shipped to 30 different countries.
Among the proud owners are some famous people and, to Halksworth's particular amusement, a person who lives in Bacon (bacon) Street and someone whose last name is Eg (egg).
Earlier this year, one of his works was featured in a Superbowl commercial for Helman mayonnaise brand.
Halksworth also paints other foods and objects, but his fried eggs are by far the most popular.
"I discovered that people are very particular when it comes to eggs. Some people like their egg whites crispy, others like them runny," Halksworth said.
Although he has painted hundreds of fried eggs, Halksworth says he hasn't lost his enthusiasm.
"I still enjoy it. Every time I paint an egg, I feel like I'm doing the first one all over again."
