Elon Musk's children have been to places that many never venture into.
From meetings with foreign leaders to the SpaceX launch control room, Musk's children regularly appear in support of their father's endeavors in technology, business, and now politics.
They have also been appearing frequently in Washington since new US President Donald Trump invited the billionaire and Tesla co-founder to head the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency.

Musk's four-year-old son, Little X, stood by his desk in the White House Oval Office on February 12, wearing a dark brown coat and collared shirt.
A day later, Little X and his three siblings exchanged gifts with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as their father discussed technology and innovation with the foreign leader.
Mask often appears in public with children.
At a meeting with the President of Turkey, at a commemoration at the Auschwitz concentration camp, and at the Time magazine ceremony where he was named Person of the Year 2021.
"Coming with children is a political move, so that the public sees Musk not just as a political actor, but as a human being," says Kurt Braddock, a professor of public communication at American University.

Why does Musk take his kids to work?

Still, Braddock says Musk's decision to bring a preschooler into the Oval Office was "unusual."
X seemed bored, imitating his father, sitting on the floor, and Trump would occasionally smile at him.
Braddock said he believes their inclusion is intentional — a distraction that benefits both Musk and Trump.
John Haber, a strategic communications consultant who has worked on five presidential campaigns and teaches at Harvard, says the public appearances of Musk's children are also beneficial for Trump.
"The more chaos there is, the better for Trump - no one can concentrate on what's important," Haber believes.
Grimes, Musk's ex-girlfriend and X's mother, criticized her son's appearance in the Oval Office.
"He shouldn't be there," she wrote in a post on the X platform.
"I'm glad he behaved well," she added.
In an interview for Vanity Fair (Vanity Fair) 2022, she said she doesn't like it when her son is the center of attention.
"Elon sees him as a protégé and takes him everywhere, but I think children should be kept away from such things," she said.

How many children does Musk have?
Long before entering politics, Musk began appearing in the company of his children.
A decade ago, when it was still building its public profile as an electric vehicle manufacturer, children were often at various events.
As analysts and reporters waited for the opening ceremony at Tesla's Silicon Valley facility in 2015, his five children ran through the halls, screaming with laughter.
Although the opening lasted for hours, the presence of Musk's children created a joyful, relaxed atmosphere - much different than at formal receptions.

Musk has twelve children with three different women.
It is Little X who appears most often in public, whom Musk often calls "emotional support."
Walter Isaacson, author of Musk's biography, said in a podcast Diary of an Executive Director that Musk is "very dedicated" to his own children.
"He's almost obsessed with them," he said.
"He always likes to have one of the children with him, which means he enjoys the company, but that doesn't make him a quiet family man," he added.
Musk may actually have thirteen children. With his fourth partner - it's all about them published People magazine.
Influencer Ashley St. Clair claims that Elon Musk gave birth to her 13th child five months ago.
"Five months ago, I gave birth to a baby. Elon Musk is the father," she announced this 26-year-old on the Iks platform, which is owned by Mask.
