Hats! Jewelry! Dresses! Tiaras!
State visits are as important for what people wear as they are for what they say and do.
It's a true example of fashion diplomacy - and there was plenty of that during the visit of United States President Donald Trump and his wife Melania to the UK.
From the hat worn by the First Lady and the striking yellow gown for the banquet, to the gold gown worn by the Princess of Wales with her tiara - these are some of the most memorable fashion releases.
Eye-catching yellow dress
At the state banquet on Wednesday night, Melania opted for a bold combination.
Yellow dress. With a soft pink belt.
Bare shoulders, long sleeves, a creation by the fashion house of Carolina Herera - a real fashion hit.
This time without a hat, with her hair down, she completed the look with sparkling, dangling earrings.
Marianne Quay, a celebrity stylist and contributor to Vogue magazine, says the color of Melania's dress was not expected for a prestigious state banquet.
"While it may be protocol-friendly, a strapless dress is a bit of a bold choice," says Kwei.
However, this isn't the first time we've seen Melania wear an off-the-shoulder dress.
She wore a similar model during the first dance after President Trump's inauguration in January.

The Queen attended the evening banquet wearing a royal blue silk dress with Moroccan embroidery - a fashion creation by Fiona Claire, along with a tiara decorated with diamonds and sapphires and the Order of the Royal Family.
The clothes worn by the king were in line with expectations.
He wore a tuxedo, "like a true monarch," Kwei noted.
He completed the look with a royal blue ribbon, which matched the color of Camilla's dress.
US President Trump chose an outfit for the evening event in accordance with the highest formalities.
A costume that never goes out of style and a striking hat
Melania is already known for her choice of hats - her wide-brimmed white hat with navy blue details was a major highlight at Trump's inauguration earlier this year.
There was even a slightly awkward moment when Trump tried to kiss her, but the brim of his hat made it difficult for him to reach her face, which caused a real storm on the internet.
During the first official events, the first lady once again chose a dramatic fashion detail.
She arrived at Windsor Castle wearing a wide purple hat that partially hid her eyes, paired with a dark gray suit from the Dior collection.
"Melania's hat is not a random choice," says Kwei.
She adds that the brim of the hat hides part of her face, which indicates that she wants all attention to be focused on the American president and his agenda while they are in Britain.
Kwei noted that Melania's hat was the same color as Trump's tie, a sign of her support for her husband's agenda during this state visit.
Dior has always been one of the first lady of America's favorite fashion brands, and this choice of hers, according to Kwei, represents a gesture of support for the United States in Europe.

Kate's gold dress
During the state banquet on Wednesday evening, the Princess of Wales wore a dress by British designer Philip Lepley, with a long cape of hand-embroidered gold lace.
The princess completed the look with a Laver Not tiara.
"Formal state banquets are some of the rare occasions when members of the royal family wear tiaras," says Kwi.
It's no surprise that Kate is wearing her favorite tiara, the stylist adds.
"It was Princess Diana's favorite tiara, and it originally belonged to Queen Mary," says Quay.
Victoria Murphy, an expert on royal protocol, explains that the dress is truly captivating and perfectly suits the theme of this state visit.
He points out that gold is not a common choice that Kate wears.
"But when she wears gold, like at movie premieres, it's always a red carpet moment," Murphy adds.
The Prince of Wales' fashion release also did not disappoint.
He wore an elegant Windsor jacket decorated with medals and royal insignia.
"This is William at his most formal," says Murphy.
He adds that younger members of the royal family are often quite casual in everyday situations, and for occasions like this they give their all.
"Formality is part of dressing to honor the guest who is visiting them," the stylist concludes.
British classics
On Tuesday evening, Melania wore one of the most quintessential British fashion pieces - a honey-colored, floor-length Burberry coat with a raised collar, while the brand's signature details were visible underneath.
She completed the look with sunglasses and boots.
Vanessa Friedman, chief fashion critic for The New York Times, said that Melania's coat choice could be an example of fashion diplomacy - something that many first ladies have done before her.
During her last state visit in 2019, Melania - a former model - also decided to dress in a European spirit, choosing brands like Burberry, Celine, Dolce & Gabbana, but also creations from American designers like Michael Kors.
It will be interesting to see how Melania's choice will be received at home, especially considering that Trump's message clearly puts the interests of the United States ahead of all other countries.
In blue harmony
The Queen wore a vibrant royal blue dress during the day, matched with a coat by designer Fiona Clear and a hat by Philip Treacy.
She completed the look with a sapphire and diamond brooch.
The blue color of her dress matched that of her husband, who wore a blue suit and light blue tie during the day's events.
Diplomatic message
The Princess of Wales wore a burgundy dress by designer Emilia Wickstead with a matching hat by Jane Taylor.
Kate wore this combination during the reception for the American President and First Lady.
Both the Queen and the Princess showed strong support for British fashion designers on this occasion.
Kate completed the look with a feather-shaped brooch.
Stylist Kwei noticed that the princess coordinated her styling with her husband William, like Melania and Donald Trump.
"Like Melania, we see a message of support here - and she stands shoulder to shoulder with her husband and her country's agenda," says Kwei.
"Blue and red!" Murphy comments, explaining that it seems to her like "a clear example of coordinated diplomatic attire, reflecting the colors of the American flag."
"A perfect example of how clothing can send a strong diplomatic message," concludes the royal family protocol expert.
