In several cities across Serbia, the rainy autumn Sunday afternoon was noisy, and the central streets were blocked.
Those who oppose the student blockades gathered at the invitation of the non-governmental organization Center for Social Responsibility at 17 p.m. to express support for the ruling Serbian Progressive Party.
In Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Valjevo, Čačak, Jagodina, Kraljevo, Bogatić and other places, citizens who support the student protests gathered at the same time.
In all places, opposing rallies were separated by strong police forces.
The central rally of government supporters in Belgrade is being held in front of the Radio Television of Serbia building, where demands were read out, including the replacement of the public service's management and objective reporting.
Food tents have been set up on Takovska Street.
Not far from there, in the nearby streets near the Palilula Market, the crowd chanted against the authorities, and police in riot gear were not allowing the two gatherings to meet.
At one point, a scuffle with the police occurred at this location, and one person was reportedly detained.

Almost the same pictures from other cities - the police in Valjevo kept separating two groups, while in Novi Sad the Klis Bridge was blocked, and those supporting the student protests were pushed towards the Klisa neighborhood.
At one point, a clash broke out in Bogatić between supporters and opponents of the government, which was broken up by the police.
The rallies ended after two hours in most places.
