Six suspects have been detained near Lyon, a city in eastern France, for a gold robbery, the second major theft in the past month.
Thieves used explosives to break into a precious metals refinery and steal loot worth around 12 million euros.
After a chase, the police managed to recover some of the stolen goods.
The robbery occurred just a few days after the one at the museum. Louvre in Paris.

Footage posted on social media shows two men next to a white van at a refinery Pourquery Laboratories.
One places a ladder over the fence, and the other, who is carrying a gun, opens the car door and then throws in the bags with the loot.
AFP reports that one witness heard a "loud explosion."
Five employees at the gold refinery were slightly injured in the explosion.
Among those detained was a woman, and police seized explosives and automatic rifles.
