Sinners (Sinners), Marti Suprim (Marty Supreme) and One Battle After Another (One Battle After Another) are among the films that will compete for a Golden Globe award on Sunday.
Frankenstein, Sentimental Value (Sentimental value), Hamnet and Twisted: Forever (Wicked: For Good) are some of the other films that could be awarded in Los Angeles.
Last year, the Best Podcast category was introduced, and this year the podcasts Adolescence, Rupa, and Studio will compete for the award in the television series category.
The Golden Globe Awards are an important moment in the film industry, as the Oscar nominations are announced immediately after (January 22).
This ceremony awards more awards than many others, as the film categories of drama, musical, and comedy are separated.
Among the nominees in various categories are actors Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Buckley and Michael B. Jordan.

Who all has been nominated?
Film One battle after another, whose plot follows the kidnapping of the daughter of a former revolutionary, is leading the pack this year after receiving the best reviews in 2025.
Sentimental value, A Norwegian drama about two sisters who are reunited with their estranged father, a film director who is planning a grand comeback after the death of their mother.
Sinners is a vampire horror drama set in 1930s Mississippi, and has already been seen as an Oscar contender after it was a huge success in theaters last year, right after the awards ceremony.
Novel adaptation Hamnet Writer Maggie O'Farrell's film of the same name deals with a family tragedy, and it is believed that the book inspired William Shakespeare to write one of his most famous plays.
New adaptation Frankenstein provides a more emotional portrayal of Mary Shelley's novel about a mad scientist and the creature he created.
Blokbaster Twisted: Forever tells the origin story of Elphaba, the twisted witch of the west.
It was just an accident., a kidnapping drama, was one of the best films of the previous year and won the top prize at Cannes, and follows the story of a man seeking revenge on a former police officer who tortured him in prison.
The plot of the film Marti Suprim tells the story of a tennis player from New York who, during the 1950s, tries to survive financially and make his mark as an athlete.
Drama was also nominated Bugonia, a Korean comedy that is full of dark humor There is no other choice., Brazilian political thriller Secret Agent and animated musical Kpop Demon Hunters.
Which actors are the favorites for the award?
Timothy Chalamet i Leonardo DiCaprio are the favorites for best actor in a comedy or musical for the films Marty Supreme and One Battle After Another, while Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon movie) favorite from the shadows.
There are great chances for best role in a drama Michael B. Jordan, but international films are increasingly winning the Golden Globe, so a Brazilian actor could win it too Wagner Moura (the movie Secret Agent).
Rouz Birn (movie If I had legs, I would kick you.) of the Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue) are among the favorites for best actress in musicals and comedies, while the young Chay Infiniti who starred in the movie One Battle After Another could be their competition.
For best actor in a drama, the situation is somewhat clearer - he is expected to win it. Jesse Buckley for the role in the film Hamnet or Renate Reinve in the movie Sentimental Value.
Supporting roles could bring Golden Globes in both male and female competition Amy Madigan (Weapon), Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein), Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn and Tejana Taylor (One battle after another).
Why was Adolescence nominated this year as well?
The Netflix series Adolescence, about a teenager accused of stabbing a schoolmate, was released almost a year ago, and the series has already won an Emmy, a Critics' Choice Award, and a National Television Award.
But, the competition for awards mostly includes works released in one calendar year, so this series was also nominated for a Golden Globe.
So they may also be at the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony in March and the Bafta Awards, which won't be awarded until May.
Some awards have already been given.
Usually, two special lifetime achievement awards are presented during the awards ceremony, but this year they were presented last week at the Globes Evening ceremony.
The Carol Burnett Award was received by Sarah Jessica Parker, star of the series Sex and the City, and Helen Mirren received the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
"They described the award to me as a recognition of my entire career, but I choose to see it as a reward for a life lived, surviving, enjoying life, sweating and, hopefully, continuing to live," Mirren said.
Parker thanked friends, colleagues and family for their support over the decades.
"You are a key part of this unimaginable life I have had, it is a reward, thank you."
Why is the Golden Globe important?
An actor, actress or film that wins a Golden Globe won't be a sure winner of an Oscar, but it can bolster their chances of being nominated.
As one of the first ceremonies of the year, the presentation of this award provides momentum.
Stars like Sebastian Stan, Demi Moore and Fernanda Torres received Oscar nominations after winning at the Golden Globes last January.
The Golden Globes are described by some as the "drunken uncle" of awards season and are a far less formal ceremony than the Oscars.
The stars are expected to be relaxed and ready to have fun during their speeches, but first they have to survive the jokes that host Nikki Glazer will tell at their expense.
