Eurovision 2026 is getting closer, and the list of participants is slowly filling up.
Electronic music artist, YouTuber and "technological innovator" Look Mom No Computer was chosen to represent the United Kingdom (UK).
Of the countries of the former Yugoslavia, Montenegro and Croatia have so far chosen candidates.
Montenegro will sing A new dawn Tamara Živković will represent Croatia, and the five-member ethno-pop group LELEK will represent the country with the song Andromeda.
Music for Andromedu was written by Serbian singer Zorica Pajić, known as Zorja, who was a candidate to represent Serbia in 2022 and 2024.
This year's representative from Serbia will be elected from February 24th to 28th.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has not participated for years due to outstanding debts, while North Macedonia does not plan to participate this year.
Kosovo is still not at Eurovision.
The 70th edition of Eurovision will be held in Vienna, following Austrian singer Jay Jay's victory in Switzerland last year.
The grand finale is scheduled for May 16th.
The competition is already surrounded by controversy - five countries withdrew after Israel's participation was confirmed: Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia and Iceland.
There were also protests in Zagreb, demanding that Croatia boycott participation.
Swiss singer Nemo, the winner of Eurovision 2024, has meanwhile decided to return the trophy in protest of Israel's participation.

United Kingdom
So, Look Mom No Computer.
He is a solo artist, singer-songwriter and YouTuber, and is also described as the "inventor of unique musical machines" - from organs made of furby toys and Gameboy consoles, through synthesizer bikes, to flame-emitting keyboards.
He first entered the music scene in 2014 as Sam Battle, frontman of the rock band Zebra.
They performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2015, and he has been performing under his solo name ever since.
"It's completely surreal for me to be embarking on this wonderful and slightly crazy journey."
"I've always been a huge fan of Eurovision and I love the magical joy it brings to millions of people every year, so it's a huge honour to be part of it and carry the flag for the United Kingdom - and I take that very seriously," said Battle.
On social networks Look Mom No Computer has 1,4 million followers.
“I worked for years to create from scratch, to write and produce my own visions, and to document the entire process,” he says.
"I will put every atom of creativity into my performances and I can't wait for everyone to hear and see what we've done - I hope Eurovision is ready!"

The singer-songwriter even has a museum called This Museum is (Not) Obsolete.
He describes it as “a home to experimental, outdated scientific and musical technology,” and among the exhibits is a Game Boy programmed to play a 100-year-old church organ.
The BBC selects the UK representative through an internal process, with the help of music industry experts.
Look Mom No Computer "It embodies everything the United Kingdom wants to celebrate on the Eurovision stage - creativity, ambition and the distinctive British spirit," they pointed out.
They often criticize the UK for "playing it safe," so they decided to "try something different" this year:
The song that will Look Mom No Computer to be performed and still has not been presented to the public.
They described it as a combination of "Now You're Gone from Bashanter, a little Parklife from Blur, maybe West End Girls from Pet Shop Boys, with a pinch Verka Serduchka and a dash of Sex Pistols."
