Father and son

Many things are not clear in today's Montenegro. Everyone interprets patriotism and betrayal, honesty and thievery, morality and immorality in their own way. However, it is particularly confusing that one group, which claims to have inherited anti-fascism, glorifies Krsto Popović, and not his son Nikola. Because Krsto collaborated with the fascists, the Italian occupiers, and Nikola was the commander of the Youth Battalion. Anti-fascists from NOR, 1941-1945, said that Krsto, apart from his betrayal and heroism, which they did not dispute, will be remembered for the fact that he gave birth to the favorite partisan commander, the national hero Nikola Popović.

Sooner or later, Montenegro will fight crime, it is well on its way to getting a capable and non-corrupt government, but in terms of protectionism and nepotism, it will remain hostage to our habits, prejudices, narrow-mindedness for a long time... For everything that should let's do it first, let's think if we know someone who can arrange it for us through a connection, without waiting, preferably for a little less money, etc. And there, nothing has changed for years, decades. If we happen to come across a principled man who behaves responsibly - "neither according to his grandmother nor his uncles", we immediately attach the label that he is "unrepentant".

When a friend tells you that someone of his has left this world, he quickly adds: "He died naturally", to emphasize that he did not die from corona, as if death from corona is not natural either. But somehow it is easier for us if someone close to us dies from any other disease, even if it is cancer. This means that nothing could be done there. Fate. And death from corona seems to imply that we ourselves have worked a little on that fate.

If he had taken care of himself, if we had taken care of him, if he had contacted us on time, if he had been treated better, and many other "yes" are roaming around his brain and giving no peace...

I don't read or write, I walk a little, I play chess frantically for a minute, I don't sleep well because of allergies, I don't even go to the radio with the former energy... And, again, to quote Maksim L, from one of our many promenades: "Micaš, how beautiful is this life!”

From "Bar Tales 3": Hanging

Five friends went in an older "Golf 2" to congratulate Veska Đ on moving into a new house. It was a little tight for them, because none of them weighed less than a hundred kilos, but they arrived at the Chazba host without any problems. They stayed for five or six hours, according to the "healthy me, healthy you" system and with plenty of food.

When they finally finished their visit, the host saw them off, as the Crmnica tradition dictates. But, as soon as he started, the "golf" caught a shoder from below.

"You can, Vesko, when your godfathers and friends come to congratulate you, and when you're already building a new house, you can also fix this window a bit, so that we don't get stuck in the car."
