Stalin signed the German-Soviet Pact. Does it matter when it comes to saving the revolution, that is, the human future?

So, it is not about a judgment about a person, but about an assessment of a historical role - Maurice Merleau-Ponty wrote in his book in 1947 Humanism and terror, the well-known "essay on a communist problem", comparing simple individuals against "higher" motives and goals behind which, quite often, even to this day, some prominent "public individuals", state and national officials, self-proclaimed saviors hide behind (and swear by them) humanity and other varieties of great visionaries. Which even goes to the extent that, in that name, certain powerful ones are guided by what Michel de Montaigne stated in the middle of the 16th century: " The public good requires both betrayal and lying and massacre..."

I'm listening to our Chancellor, how, little by little, he gets a little carried away; he cries that everyone hates him and no one loves him; he complains about his own people, who (apart from pensioners who voluntarily gave up part of their pensions for the sake of the general good) do not understand him, who are lazy, unsophisticated, inconsiderate, unhinged, unsatisfied, in contrast to, well, the Germans who are hardworking, disciplined, satisfied , de-Nazified, migrantophiles, yes, the soul is one of the people. Well, I also feel sorry for myself and I want to say everything, but I don't have the heart: Don't sacrifice yourself anymore, I'm begging you for God's sake, let the public good go, let the ungrateful Serbs and the entire Serbian citizenry fend for themselves, let them choose someone else , when they don't appreciate your mission so much to lead them on the right path, to make them something they never were...

I look at these people from the opposition, how they sacrifice themselves, and offer us this and that, this and that, we just need to raise our heads and pick them up, but this illiterate and uneducated people do not understand anything, not even the sacrifice of our opposition members. , nor their blood, sweat and tears, all for a better "common cause" and regularly votes for the others... I also heard of a young candidate for turning off the lights in Braće Jugović - I remembered that he was from Koštunica (since he was again in the opposition, as well as a decade before, when we met for the last time before that), about five years ago, he announced himself as the future leader of De-es-es... Veli, if I understood him, is not up to the position, but "he will take responsibility ", and he knows with whom and how he would make a new party policy.

Didn't His Excellency also say last spring, a week before the parliamentary elections, that he would run for a second presidential term, not for himself, but because "Vučić will need him"? How about "which Excellency"? This is the gentleman who signs himself as the President of the Republic of Serbia, known for the fact that, on behalf of all of us, the citizens of Serbia, he sent to our people's government his draft of the platform on Kosovo, exactly 17 months ago, but because of the "zent" from our Chancellor to this day, he is not allowed to ask what he would do with that paper stamped with "President of the Republic of Serbia"!

Hit me on the ears, but I confess: the Labor (not Blair's!) party won the elections in Velika Kladuša and its (and my) candidate for mayor, known among political enemies as a "convicted war criminal", among sympathizers as a fantastic "swimmer" between his neighbors Serbs and Croats, Babo of Cazinska Krajina, more deserving of that region than Jeremic's fatherland of Pozderac... Well, that man (I attended his spectacular welcome from the communist casemate as a journalist 26 years ago) knew what the public good was ! And, if there was no behind-the-scenes SDA - SDS conspiracy, he should have been the first president of BiH according to "vox populi - vox dei" (that's how the citizens voted in 1990), and I would put my hand in the fire that it would have been with him, too, even if shortened, Yugoslavia and whole Bosnia in it...
