Dear citizens of Montenegro,
I believe that this is the moment when progressive Montenegro must finally wake up from its decade-long DPS-induced lethargy and see after a long period of political blindness. The arrest of a proven fighter against corruption and organized crime and a politician who has become synonymous with efforts to establish the rule of law in Montenegro, Nebojša Medojević, is a moment when individual party policies, ideological disagreements, and the collection of cheap political points must be put aside. plan. Although it may sound like a slogan to some, I believe it is true to say that supporting the opposition MPs - the arrested Nebojša Medojević and the barricaded Milan Knežević - is today's measure of our individual and collective morality, ethics, and courage.
What happened on the night of December 1 on the streets of Podgorica gives this date a completely new historical meaning and a new specific weight. The unconstitutional arrest of MP Medojević and the threat of arrest to his colleague Knežević make this date a turning point in the modern history of the newly established independent Montenegro, which, miraculously, is striving for EU membership. The first of December has become the day when our measure of humanity is taken by giving support to inveterate opposition parliamentarians in Montenegro.
I hope that all the citizens of my homeland, Montenegro, will find the strength to give that unreserved support, and by doing so, bravely step forward to the proverbial epic "throat," to which the defenders of truth and justice were called in the past.
