The sound of the concrete mixer that dominated the end of spring and the beginning of summer along the shore of the lake, from Utjeha to Čanj, was finally replaced by the monotonous song of the squealers.

The majority of deputies returned to the Montenegrin Parliament. The boycott once again did not meet the expectations of the opposition. He did not motivate either the government or the international community to reconsider what was, and even less to make any dramatic moves. And in the first subsequent elections after the boycott, as always, the opposition failed miserably.
In the future, whoever comes first with a proposal for a boycott of the Assembly, we will know that it is Tesio.

Almost every day I pass by the former cafe-restaurant "Tropikana", in the center of Bar, on the Promenade of King Nikola. The once iconic place is now the city's mockery, eroded by the ravages of time and human carelessness. But it is still possible that, with I suppose, small investments, it will become a representative cultural asset. I support with all my heart that it be remodeled into the "House of Mijo Mijušković", the famous Montenegrin sculptor, Baranin from Nikšić, who settled down in the Sutomore settlement of Suvi potok a long time ago. There, high in the hills, at the foot of Sozina, the hospitable home of the sculptor, who is closer to his tenth than eighth decade of life, "keeps" hundreds of his sculptures made of fine stone, gnarled olives and other precious wood. However, this kind of open-air museum is doomed to decay. The sculptures for which Mijo received numerous awards, including the Thirteenth of July Award in 1992, must be moved while there is still time. The ideal place for them is the renovated former Tropicana.
Whoever from the authorities helps to turn the sculptor's life's work - an open-air museum into an institutional project, in the "House of Mijo Mijušković", will undoubtedly do the right thing for Montenegrin cultural heritage and its heritage, and give Bar an attractive cultural, even tourist corner.

The two of us spent six days at Ivan's beds. We thought: we will come back after two or three days, and when we left we were sorry that it didn't last longer. Every day we hiked between 15 and 20 kilometers, and all our paths ended at the Windmill, at the viewpoint that is the most natural inhaler in the world and where the eyes are forced to sparkle with delight looking down on the Bay of Kotorska. Every afternoon we came there to enjoy the incredible play of sun and clouds. When it seems to you that the rain is about to fall, because everything suddenly turns black above you, and the fog covers Štirovnik and Jezerski vrh in the distance, the sun breaks through and suddenly everything around you takes on bright, optimistic colors. And vice versa: just think that the turquoise sky, which seems to be at your fingertips, will not be able to throw anything out of sync for days, a black cloud, like with Luis, a dark view and everything around is cheerless.

My wife told me that by staying at Ivan's beds, I rounded things off. At the beginning of dating, I took her for popcorn and ice cream, and for her thirtieth wedding anniversary, I took her to the mountains - through the union.

The Bar calendar soared to unimagined heights on the night of July 14, when the legendary Duško Gojković played with Belgrade jazzers on the Summer Stage in Stari Bar. This world-renowned musician performed miracles with his trumpet for more than an hour and a half, and in October he turns 87!
After "Hurricane Heights", Ljetopis had another good production of its own. It is about the play "Of Mice and People", directed by the charismatic Dino Mustafić.
Nevertheless, we will wait, apparently, for the quality of last year's jubilee, 30th festival to be repeated. This year's is kind of messy. The theater program got lost somewhere between Stari Bar and Topolica, and even two performances were cancelled. The performance "Jami District" was canceled due to an injury to the actress, and the reason for the cancellation of "Bitch" of the Zetski Dom, she did not dare to explain even the good fairy of Ljetopisa, PR Marija D.

And speaking of the theater: whoever has not sat at a play next to a person who ate garlic, does not know what suffering is.

Novak is back. And with a triumph at Wimbledon, the unofficial world championship. I have the impression that he never came down from the top...
* * *
I told a friend that I would support Croatia in the final, in Moscow, if Novak beat Nadal in that miraculous Wimbledon semi-final. Because of the character of the Croatian players who lost to Denmark, Russia and England and eliminated them all, because of Rakitić...
Then Marko Perković appeared (out of nowhere) and shattered the illusion that it is not as it seems, vividly explaining that our nationalisms will never yield to reason.

The individual senior chess championship of Montenegro is taking place in the "Sidro" hotel. The two best Montenegrin players are competing in the same tournament. How is that possible? Easy. One is of all time, Božidar Ivanović, the other is in this hour, Nikola Đukić. The championship is great. It is played in a pleasant environment and incredibly combative, up to naked kings. And it hurts my soul that the first prize for the most important competition in the Chess Federation's calendar, for the title of champion of Montenegro, is only one thousand euros.
Nothing in this country is more undervalued than mental effort.

The people here have a strange habit that comes to the fore especially in the summer. Baranin, who has not lived in Bar for more than a year, is first asked: "How long are you staying?" And on leaving, they have no other greeting than: "When will you come again?"
