Hollywood legend Robert de Niro, during the Tony Award ceremony, apologized to Canadians for the "idiotic president" of his country who imposes taxes on the most important neighbor and ally, and then said in his own style: "J... Trump"!
I imagine the president of the Jury for the awarding of the Thirteenth of July Award, the painter Todor, who at the awarding ceremony, in Villa Gorica, says: "I apologize to the European Union for the harassment that our idiotic president incites and supports against it and its officials." So that the terrible Todor, a mountain of a man, would thunder with his big voice: "J..... Trampa"!
Does it look like science fiction?! Or Todorov's terrible nightmare from which he wakes up covered in sweat and tears.
And what would be more natural than if one artist, Todor or that Karadaglić from London, or dozens of others, instead of bowing down and admiring a president with dictatorial tendencies, use some public performance and instead of "Milo Tsar", shout: "J... .Trump"!
In the aforementioned performance, De Niro, announcing Bruce Springsteen, emphasized that Bruce "always knew how to rock the house like no one else", advocating for "truth, transparency and integrity in government". Then he would conclude: "Ugh, how much we need that right now!"
And how much something similar is necessary for Montenegro, where the government has never changed in elections and where we have never had a government with integrity. And where instead of transparent and responsible leaders we had Masters. And where there has never been a social elite that is ready to put the public interest before the personal. Exceptions only prove the rule. Courting each king, which then brought sinecures and privileges, was always the priority of most Montenegrin intellectuals.
For example, I remember this same Todor who for years, after 2006, was one of the biggest critics of anomalies in society. He never said "j... Trump", but he did say that we have an idiot minister, this or that, and a thieving government. That then, after he himself received the Thirteenth of July Award, he would become Aleksandar Vulin overnight.
The Leader's greatest apologist and favorite hound of critics of the regime. Who will be called traitors to the state in the finale. Because the state - that's Trump!
Or, former journalist Boro Krivokapić. After the referendum, he wrote a long letter to the president why he should step down. Not only from state but also from party functions. To end politics. And that this is the only way to remain written in the history of Montenegro. Instead of an answer, a punishment arrived - Boro K. was taken off the device.
That is appanage. And then for years, from exile, he repeated a very clear and accurate definition of the state of affairs in the country: "Montenegro cannot survive the greed of the Đukanović brothers!" He was right. That a few years later, when they could no longer repay her loans and pay the electricity bills, he would be connected to the infusion again.
"J..... Trump," says state chronicler of contemporary history Živko Andrijašević to his publisher, Dral the Greek! Explaining the decision why there is no Filip Vujanović in their joint venture 100 most significant personalities. Poor Philip, what he experienced. Well deserved, I must say. Although the case wanted to be the first president of independent Montenegro. In contrast, for example, to the father of the publisher Dral, who was among those who kept Montenegro in the Yugoslav one-party cage by all means for decades, and came across as an underdeveloped area. So that in the final, they would hand over a little statehood and the poor on a platter to Milošević without a fight. J... Filipa, blood is not water!
Or, how independent and free Montenegro would look if the young university professor Ivan Vuković, when Trump sent his uncle Miško to offer him the leadership of the DPS team for PG, responded with the words: "J... Trump"! I prefer Montenegro because, as I like to say - I can only live in an independent and free state! And under Trump, even the workers know it, let alone the honest intelligentsia, there is neither an independent nor a free Montenegro. But children should not be scolded because of their elders. The elected president is right. That's fascism. What is Ivan guilty of because Uncle Miško wrote the Zabljak unitary constitution, with the intention that Montenegro would never be independent and free.
And what if I now wrote: "J... Trump"! I won't, I'm just asking what would happen after that heresy?! In order to mention the featherweights of propaganda, plus the rest of the budget camarilla, plus media regulators and guardians of the Code, plus ombudsman Šućko, plus Ivana Šebek and Slavko Mandić, so that they would all shout in defense of the image and deeds of the beloved Leader. Like De Niro's Trump, they would target me with tweets or FB posts. That I passed out from blows to the head. De Niro from the fists of Ray Sugar Robinson, true only on film, and me from those bats, unknown contractors, from the night, September 2007. I can't imagine the frenzy that would occur in the court, who would take it upon himself to write a letter to Commissioner Han and who should collect signatures.
And isn't it natural and normal for the majority of public figures and intellectuals in a society to always be ready to question the authority of an authoritarian leader, even to say to him like De Niro: "J..... Trump"! Because Montenegro survived and worse. There will be Montenegro even after him, "as long as there is sun and as long as there is Grahovca!"
So, this country needs, like air, many famous and well-known people who, like Bruce, will rock the house, advocating for truth, transparency and integrity in government. Ugh, how we need that right now! But what will I do when no one, including me, is allowed to say: J..... Dear! Long live the European Union!
