Montenegro has a flag, an anthem and a coat of arms, adopted, as far as I know, in a legal procedure. Montenegro has no jobs, no salaries - pensions (money) from their own earnings, and a large part of the people does not even have bread. And literally.
The government - the state offers us a new flag, a new anthem. The government - the state does not offer us jobs, earned salaries, long-earned pensions, bread. Debt is growing rapidly, which means we are borrowing from our grandchildren.
Winter '43. in Žabljak Pitomine. They work, along with their own children, they have the obligation to help feed the numerous children of their brother, who was shot by the Germans that year, and the eldest nephew, who died two years ago in Pljevlja. Žabljak is not a granary even in summer. In winter, there are no nettles. The fifth offensive, in addition to numerous deaths, also took away almost everything that was being prepared for the winter. Night. Children of father bread, who is not there. The witty Rade takes a tin pan, starts "hitting" it like a hammer, the children play, get tired and fall asleep, not looking for bread. Rade was a bright peasant. He knew that the empty pan would not help tomorrow either.
Our "Sherpa", our "daire" are the flag, the anthem, the language, as well as the eternal "enemies of all colors", especially yellow (t-shirts).
For example, the flag. It barely passed the Assembly. They just got used to it, so it's not good. Some never even liked her. They say it is not a continuity flag. Which one? Whose? All the idle "painters" are painting a new flag. Some color has passed since Easter, so don't throw it away. And the cloth, at least, is not missing.
The national anthem is not to the liking of the "first man" of Montenegro. Since he was enthroned, one would say, that is his only concern. He likes the music, he could handle the words somehow, but the author of the lyrics? The empire does not deny itself! The anthem must be changed to "so what costs costs". And I, an old out-of-date economist, believe that it might be cheaper to change the "first man".
Language? Enemies? What can I tell you when you know everything.
Why, right now, as they say right before the start of negotiations with Europe, is the most important thing to change the anthem, the flag, the language. All Montenegrin and European officials are unanimous that the conversation with Europe begins with the story of organized crime and corruption, justice and the judiciary. In all the "important" world languages, even in these four of ours, the words corruption and crime are written and read almost the same, and mean the same thing, so the "language barrier" is no excuse if we accidentally fail in this work.
Why "sherpa" and "daire", why "smoke curtains" always timed for some important moment. And this time too. Our young prime minister went to congratulate his Italian colleague. What on earth could he bring him as a present without blushing. They talked about work, according to Italian newspapers. Apparently, our journalists did not have the right to be present. Too bad! And we will find out what was agreed upon when the invoice arrives and the electricity goes off. Like always. It was the same with Željezar, Telekom, and especially KAP (and Šak). During that time, "at home" the flag is the most important issue.
Speaking of KAP. Who still remembers the extraordinary session of the Assembly after the February doomsday and the decision to pay 22 million euros to Deutsche Bank. Who remembers the incidental, but too big conclusions. Nobody! Neither the Government, nor Ranko. We paid off the Germans. The figure is higher than the gross income from German tourists this year. And who made the decision to pay the 110 million euros from the "settlement" to the Hungarian and Russian banks. Nobody! And will it be paid? Will! Once the panties are off, the rest is routine. And the Russians? Every kilo of aluminum is theirs. Electricity, taxes, contributions, payment of guarantees? Well, that's ours. Probably these Russians have some magic herbs.
So that everything is not gloomy, finally, one piece of good news. The government promises early parliamentary elections. The ruling class must be fed up with the government. Three elections in six years. This much democracy can also be harmful. You should not exaggerate anything. Milo says that when you enter the fourth year of government, all elections are regular. Why the rush when he is sure he will win again. Or maybe, he's not sure. Why are elections scheduled six months before the end of the mandate? Why not use that time to finish some of the great promises made? Maybe the scheduler of the election knows that the situation in the country will be much better in September this year than in March next year. Or in those six months something is planned (must) be done that will not be to the standards of the general public.
The opposition is not happy. It's as if I hear them: "It's only been 22 years that we've been preparing tactics for coming to power, when they schedule elections." It's not fair”. The elections are planned for the end of summer, when tourism will collect some "church money", when the gardens are full of fruit, when you can't stay hungry even in the forest.
A homeless man in Bar had a habit of going "visiting" at lunchtime. In the beginning, it didn't bother everyone, but over time... The "uninvited guest" noticed that they were avoiding him. However, June comes when a seasonal fruit ripens, which no one defends. The well-fed "joyful man", in order to take revenge on the inhospitable hosts, spoke: "Trt vi ga Barani, the mulberries have come". But mulberries also pass. Whoever doesn't make jam is waiting for new mulberries. If he waits?
Our busy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Transport arrived the other day in Bar (and Ulcinj) to visit construction sites. In Bar, the boulevard that forever separated half the city from the sea, of course contrary to the GUP, and since many pedestrians will jump over the too wide "runway", who cares. Along the way, he promises us that he will sell half of the port of Bar, which he has already fenced off with wire and fence, guided by the "positive" experience from the sale of Marina, Maritime Affairs and Rumijatrans. In the meantime, he abolished the Maritime Safety Administration, with headquarters in Bar.
Minister, before the sale of the port, why don't you at least try to bring someone to the port administration who, before being appointed, came to the port at least once, even if it was with a school excursion. If there are no such players in Montenegro, after 23 years of this government, try something like handball players, basketball players, and judo players. Spend 100 thousand euros, at least from that money for studies on the justification of building a railway from nowhere to nothing. With people who know port business, he could never tear up the port of Bar like this, and with people who are independent and who love it, and who are not afraid, he could not move the port administration to Kotor.
That's why "sherpa" and "daire" are so often at hand that the mind is distracted or does not hear or see the gloomy everyday life and a future similar to it.
And our "Rade"? He prays to God and he manages to sleep as long and continuously as possible, at least as long as two generations of međes, together. Until it's all over.
