IT'S RIPE

Only positive!

Politics in Montenegro is a field where, unfortunately, until today, no one has managed to restore order and play according to internationally recognized rules. It's ripe for big storage. For ventilation. Throwing out old habits, worn-out customs and worn-out threes. To bring exhibits to the museum.

There have been many bad days in the history of this country. There were also many good, positive ones. And every new day is a new job, as the people would say. That's how the day approached, which I know will be on the calendar of positive days of this country. The twenty-sixth of May - the day when over 400 delegates from all over Montenegro will found a new party - Positive Montenegro.

Why Positive Montenegro, many people have asked me in recent months. Why politics, why going out on the pitch that is full of holes in Montenegro, the referees always whistle in favor of the stronger and richer club, the matches are arranged without fuss, the favorite starts are slippery, and penalties are rampant.

Because in this country they cannot change ie. apply the rules of the game until the contestants themselves overcome the irregularities. That is why we enter the soil full of furrows that have not yet borne fruit. In order to stop the irregular game, turn it into a fair game and compete with those who undisputedly rule our fields, buy referees, opposing players, bring unrest to the opposing benches and steal other people's fans. Politics in Montenegro is a field where, unfortunately, until today, no one has managed to restore order and play according to internationally recognized rules.

It's ripe for big storage. For ventilation. Throwing out old habits, worn-out customs and worn-out threes. To bring exhibits to the museum. And to bring smiles back to the streets. It is ripe for Positive Montenegro.

A positive Montenegro that will put an end to negative habits that brought great wealth to the minority and loss to the majority, sharp social differences, a large number of losers from the transition and a small number of winners, and a feeling of hopelessness among a huge number of citizens.

If someone doesn't know what I'm talking about - let them turn their head towards the north of Montenegro, where our trees are cut and exported abroad to import processed wood from there, even though we could also employ our workers, our engineers, our designers - and we could also produce something. If not for export - at least for our needs. If we don't even import wood, it's like living in a country without a single tree. No, you are mistaken if you think that Positive Montenegro came up with this. Even those who have ruled this country for 23 years know that this is how business should be done. But why would you when it's more profitable like this. Someone exports, someone imports, someone plucks there, someone here. Even ten of them are "good" from this job. Another dozen of them pick up some charm, and all the rest are at a loss. But as long as the majority who are at a loss silently observe this modification of the neoliberal economy in our way - it will mutate into worse and more destructive forms for the citizens.

It's the same with water. Clear and clean sources of healthy, mountain, drinking water at every step, and our shops and cafes are full of imported brands. Not because someone else's water is better, but because they created their neoliberal market for us, where there is general freedom in everything except who will be the importer, who will be the seller, and who will be the reseller. While unemployed men and women are waiting for welfare and a new day - next to their houses springs of pearl water are languishing because it is not worth it to the landlords to make this a country of sustainable development and domestic products and a good economy, because a citizen who is financially stable is a free citizen. A citizen who has a job for which he receives money every first of the month, does not allow himself to be a cog in the huge voting machinery. He knows his rights, but also his obligations, and he demands what is his. He asks where his money is, who spent it and why.

That's why we decided to be Positive Montenegro. Because we are not afraid to move people. It is not difficult for us to reach every house and say that it is time for people to realize their dream, to start doing what they know best, what they have been educated for, what they have always wanted. We are not afraid of those who know and know how, because we are convinced that only they can build a new Montenegro that will rest on knowledge, not on delusion.

And don't think that it is easy to break down and dare to engage in a political struggle with hardened fighters ready for various illegal operations. No. It's not easy. However, it is only by going out into the field that it is possible to face the problem and defeat the one who creates the problem. And to get there - a strong will, mission and vision are needed.

We in Pozitivna Montenegro have all that. Tomorrow's congress will be only the first step towards achieving our goal: creating a Positive Montenegro with new people, new ideas and new energy that will make Montenegro finally move towards becoming a positive country.

And each of the 414 delegates, who will sit with us tomorrow and work on creating a Positive Montenegro, will bring their own vision of our country. We all have the right to wish and to make an effort to make our wishes come true. As long as they don't endanger others, of course. Each of you who is reading this and who believes in your idea and knows that it can, in spite of everything, come true, even if you throw its seeds on hitherto barren soil, has the right to expect the fruits of your work.

Self-awareness that an individual can and must change the world around him is necessary at this time. The recipe is simple. No, it is not universal. Because everyone should find within themselves a reason to raise their head. And there are plenty of reasons. They just shouldn't be pushed under the tattered carpet of our reality. You need to organize a list of reasons in your head and work and think. Positively.

And so it will come back to us. Only positive!
