We want everything we don't have today

This hopelessness needs to be put to an end, and for that to happen, everyone needs to make their contribution, no matter how small and insignificant their NO to lawlessness, corruption, nepotism, divisions at various levels of society may seem to them - it will be part of a big, loud and strong YES to a free and civil Montenegro

It's possible. Nothing that has happened to others is so impossible that it can happen to us. We want a democratic country - market and laws equal for all. We want everything that we don't have today.

The formation of a new political party is a new and different chance for all those who are tired of the current political upheavals, while the most important problems in the country are not solved, but only deepen. It will be a civic-oriented party, open to all those who want Montenegro to become a country governed by the rule of law, which is a prerequisite for the necessary fundamental reforms of the system, a country that is taking big steps towards the European Union, but not for the sake of fulfilling the conditions of order, but out of a sincere desire to reach European standards.

Unfortunately, we are witnesses that today's Montenegro is far from what we wanted when we set out on the path to independence. The potentials and resources of this country are deeply threatened by ignorance, corruption and organized crime, incompetence, nepotism, but also the absence of a sense of measure, both spiritually and economically.

For two decades of decay - no one was held accountable for the privatization that brought the working class to the brink of ruin, even though it was all done in order to enrich a small number of people who usurped the state. The list of inactions of this government is too long, which led to the fact that the citizens of Montenegro now, due to the selfishness of a handful of people, have to pay millions of euros in guarantees for KAP. That is, the Russian owners. That is, they are paying for the wrong decision of our Government. So that there is no dilemma, a wrong decision for the citizens, not for those who made it - in our name.

They will most certainly appear in some report of foreign investigative bodies, because unfortunately ours will not work, except when someone goes after our prime minister. Former or current.

The ironworkers of Nikšić can no longer even count all the investors that the local rulers pompously brought to them as "serious and strategic", promising to rise from the ashes of this stumbling giant, once a great economic power. And all they improved - were their own accounts in foreign banks and their quality of life, while the rest of the citizens sank into despair. And then the investors ran away without a farewell letter. "Serious and strategic", nothing!

Instead of the radical reforms that are necessary, we got (again) discussions about language and identity issues, which are certainly very important issues, but with us these are topics that come up from time to time and then when it gets too crowded. They must not serve to divert attention from expensive electricity, slow judiciary, prosecutor's office that works only when ordered, children's education expenses, how to make it to the first of the month...

It is more important than ever to reconcile the citizens of Montenegro who, in order to preserve the raw power of the political-party clans, quarreled on various grounds: religious, national, social, state-identity... It is not an easy task at all. A lot of work, patience, and improvement in all fields awaits us all.

First of all - we must strive to fulfill all our obligations as citizens, but also to be aware of all the rights that our civil status gives us and that no one can dispute. In Montenegro, the role of citizens has been deliberately minimized and humiliated, because in the concept where civil law bows before party and tribal law - there is no progress. Creating a fairer Montenegro is in the hands of all of us. Everyone should contribute as much as they can and as much as they want so that the wheel of civilization turns on our part of the planet.

As long as there are those who silently wander around the counters for days asking for their rights on various grounds, and when they get tired of it, they grab the connections themselves to finish everything as soon as possible, and do not react publicly to irregularities - little will change. While in our country, identity issues are a bone of contention - in organized countries, symbols are precisely what unite all citizens.

It is certain that changes should come from within. From the minds and hearts of us all. Imposed and forced change only brings about the rewriting of European laws, which is in full swing in Montenegro today. And behind the pile of spent per diems for various consultants, audits and commissions that will examine the new documentation, there are actually all those poor working-class neighborhoods that are expanding day by day, cold and substandard schools, roads full of potholes, hospitals with endless waiting lists... Endless hopelessness - and no reforms.

And that needs to be put to an end, and for that to happen, everyone needs to give their contribution, no matter how small and insignificant it seems to them, their NO to lawlessness, corruption, nepotism, divisions at various levels of society - it will be part of a big, loud and strong YES to a free civil Montenegro.
