Everything is like that children's game we used to fill the hours spent in front of the building - when we were kids. We choose someone to play the emperor and then he determines whether the others will reach the goal quickly or slowly. For some, the emperor decreed that he should walk with a mouse's leg, for someone with an elephant's leg. How he likes someone...
There is, however, one - crucial - difference between that child's game and our reality. Children follow the rules of the game and take turns in the role of emperor.
In our reality – there is only one emperor. And he "gives" most of the participants of our game to move with an ant's step. For a few, however, he allows the biggest ones. Elephants. Naturally, the ground shakes from them, and ants fall out of their anthills. But the main question now is whether the king - master really knows what time has come. Does he even know what time it is? Or his clocks are still ticking according to the "old time".
The emperor-lord is holding on, all are occasions, of the old reckoning of time where the year is zero - the moment of his appearance on the stage in front of those whose steps are dictated by the machines. He shakes his head, and briskly, from his shoulder, raises his hand, bends it at the elbow until under the snow-white cuff it appears - "family treasure". A look at that clock tells him - that he has a lot of time left. And people.
And events. And how many more are ahead of him? Well, the clock doesn't show that. He just relentlessly types his own. And the warning keeps coming. We are in the Central European Time zone (CET). So it was agreed. At some higher and more authoritative addresses than ours. Simply - territorially, culturally, civilizationally, whatever, we belong to that zone. And it's time to adjust our watches accordingly.
During this time, the emperor-lord continues to strike his way. With the help of adjutants, he measures how many ant, mouse, elephant or hyena steps have advanced. His professor, and the professor of some new young generations - the guru of the neoliberal Montenegrin school, strictly takes care to let only the chosen ones into the game. He chooses even the ones for small steps, so that those who tread boldly come to the fore. For big bites and steps, everything is ready for the elite. And of course he controls the process from the end. The process of decay or progress.
Depending on how one perceives the closing of factories, the privatization of hotels that are then closed or demolished, murky investments and even more murky characters, the transitional "tiger" development has reached us.
One of the famous statements of the powerful guru is that "there is no free dinner in economics" (but there are secrets), which simply means that someone has to pay for everything.
So very consciously, and with forethought, in order to reach the goal, i.e. they got close to the point where the emperor-master stands, inn all those free cars, free tons and tons of fuel, free trips on the official plane, free employment of wives, children, relatives in well-to-do state agencies and companies... Everything for free... In a country whose main and inviolable the economist claims that someone has to pay for everything spent.
The professor from Donja Gorica is right. There is no dispute. And it's not just paid with money.
And the spent time, energy and space of this country - only citizens pay.
Unreservedly - only those for whom jobs, official cars and private businesses do not fall from the sky, but have to fight for everything - with knowledge, persistence, a different - civic attitude towards reality.
There are many examples of how every dinner, even a heated one, costs a lot.
Countless pages of various studies for the sinking of Tara and Morača, countless fees for professional and non-professional collaborators, countless media advertisements, forums, dinners (free and secret) with potential partners. A lot of time, energy and money have passed to realize that time is here - it has stopped.
It should be launched. Wind the clock, adjust it to Central European time. It's not easy. When the weather changes, just for an hour, we are hungover and have a hard time adjusting. How is it when we need to change the entire time sphere. To abandon the cruel game in which the central figures ask us to become a consumer society by spending and selling off everything we have, everything we have left as an inheritance, to strip our existence to the bare bones. Only to stand in line and submissively, bowing their heads, in a low voice, ask: "King, king, master, what time is it?"
And the hours are as many as the king-lord, when he sets his eyes on his talisman, determines. Adequately. He can do anything. Even to ban the change of summer time to winter time. And vice versa. As Medvedev did in Russia, who explained his move by saying that people are irritable, change their biorhythms and are not resourceful when the weather changes. That's why he decided to put an end to those changes. Maybe we should think about it too. It is imperative to connect this change with economic progress, successful investments, and perhaps a fast track in numerous integrations. Or we will finally start counting time according to the zone to which we belong.
It's all a matter of judgment. And the decisions of those who can do it. But also of will, i.e. troubles, citizens to support them in this. Or is it just a matter of deciding to finally align our watches with the watches of those who travel without borders and receive salaries just as high as our parents' before the AB revolutionaries came and didn't chase the evildoers who stole a huge lamb and had a couple of official cars . Unlike the emperor, emperors and emperors today.
