The current government does not rule through dialogue and laws aimed at the welfare of all citizens, but through laws that legalize lawlessness. And what cannot be legalized is realized through a parallel system of party trustees and paramilitary and criminal structures.
An occupied city, helicopters, drones, video beams with direct transmission of the meeting, buses, exhausted people who are watered and fed at least for this day and who will be able to satisfy their metabolic processes in mobile, smelly toilets - the way Serbia is today. And all that at our expense. The country of the smoke screen, behind which there are priorities exclusively directed towards the uncontrolled enrichment of a small group of people. In that process, they are helped by those, who for them only represent a number, the saint who filled the plateau in front of the Assembly of Serbia. Short-term entertainment for the forcibly brought people, empty shouts and dangerous messages. Just as I was passing by Terazije, Dačić appeared on the video beam, admiring the fish soup. He told us that he was not going to sing, but for all those who go to the protests, he quoted, not too inventively, Čorba's song "Stay garbage until the end". It is garbage, he says, which has been destroying Serbia since October 5 (probably he was also thinking of himself). He's a cute bucko. To my surprise, the world gathered there, the vast majority of them passing by, loudly resented it. I then headed through Bezistan towards Nikola Pašić Square. There is a mass of people, albeit tired ones. They were sitting and lying all around. They were eating Mac, while a woman with lists went around them and took their bills (probably from Mac). There were also kasetins from Dajhman and Waikiki. People also get tired of shopping. And then His speech was announced. Drums rumbled, torches were lit - Zagor Te-Nej almost didn't. Chanting could be heard in the distance. I couldn't make out what they were shouting. No one moved, smiled or said anything around me. It was a thunderous silence - an agony of silence and patience.
Messages from the gathering remind of Groundhog Day. All of us, including those who served as his vicar there, are, alas, somewhere in the distance, unimportant. The priorities are illegal demolitions and construction and the predominance of kitsch that is supposed to promote the cult of the leader. Foreign direct investments that employ low-skilled labor who work in practically slave-like conditions. Even that is not enough, so this government pays foreign investors to humiliate these workers. And it seems that there will only be work for these workers, because investments in education and science are insufficient, as are regular diplomas. Today, fictitious and fake ones are more important because they are proof of suitability - and there is plenty of work for such. The state administration and public companies are loaded with these cadres who have proven to be extremely operative in the forced mobilization of people and pumping resources out of the system. Schools, hospitals, theaters and cultural monuments are falling into disrepair. Independent media and dissidents are prey. Teachers, doctors, medical workers, lawyers and culture are humiliated. Is it any wonder, then, that a law is passed that legalizes fake doctoral degrees? Or is it a surprise that the new Law on Health Care legalizes bribery - health workers are allowed to receive gifts worth up to 462 euros? The current government does not rule through dialogue and laws aimed at the welfare of all citizens, but through laws that legalize lawlessness. And what cannot be legalized is realized through a parallel system of party trustees and paramilitary and criminal structures. Today, the leader and accompanying bullion once again asked us, just like Čvorović for his brother in Balkan Spy, to apologize to him for "beating" us and because he will continue to do so with the same passion.
