When Duško Marković at the entrance to the assembly hall, in the company of Branimir Gvozdenović wearing protective equipment, asked one of the doyens of Montenegrin parliamentarianism why he was not wearing a mask and gloves, the latter replied:
"You are used to 30 years under a mask and with gloves. I never needed it".
Thus, the DPS under the guise of introducing an unconstitutional state of emergency in Montenegro.
Under the guise, Statis, Pua, Šinavarta and the "Bemax" team became benefactors, although every employee in Montenegro allocates 11 percent of their gross monthly salary to healthcare. Or, 84,5 euros per month, if he receives an average salary of 524 euros. That is, almost two earnings per year. Marković, without gloves, thanked him. All that was left was for Djukanović to hand out the decorations to them.
To those who have an IQ higher than the number of shoes they wear, he can hand out bensedine. Especially after the applause of some medical workers in Nikšić.
The same ones to whom, without a mask, he said in March 2016 that doctors would have to find an answer among themselves why they are less respected in society today than they were 20 or 30 years ago. He estimated at the time that it is not an uneven salary if an assistant minister has 600 euros, and the starting salary of a doctor at KBC is 685 euros. His Government ordered the healthcare system to prepare for a public-private partnership.
Marković now jumps into populism without a mask and increases the April salaries of the heroes of our time by 15 percent.
But let's get back to the masks and the applause.
And let's pose a dilemma - whether the DPS, under the guise of concern for the health of the population and without gloves from the ravaged economy, is considering taking us out of quarantine naked, or in slippers and swimwear, to the elections, sometime in July.
With a simple explanation - better now, than to wait for the second half of September and October, when the regular deadline, and a possible new wave of the epidemic, which, given the possibility of postponing the elections, would also mean a formal constitutional crisis.
Although we have been in a constitutional crisis for a long time - with the murdered parliament, the third term of the president of the Supreme Court, an illegitimate president or chairman of the Constitutional Court, the acting state of the VDT and the Judicial Council, the party-subdued public service, ASK or AZLP.
In addition, elections will be held in Serbia, Macedonia and, apparently, Croatia during the summer.
Why couldn't we also have parliamentary elections sometime in July - 60 days from the moment of the announcement - held, together with the local ones in Tivat, Kotor, Andrijevica and Gusinje, and maybe Budva where the government is now - by accident or not - swinging well. Party reasons are very clear here.
Due to the effect of gathering around the mast in a crisis, to which almost all companies are subject, the rating of DPS is certainly now a percentage better than it was months ago.
Several thousand, possibly decisive voters from the diaspora who mostly vote for DPS and BS are more likely to be in Montenegro in July than in the fall, especially if a new wave of the epidemic starts.
The opposition's hands are tied, which is not unusual in such crises. DPS now has only two unknowns - litia and the international factor. The NKT can keep the ban on mass public gatherings for a long time, but calling an election with the NKT's measures is a problematic matter, with a possible boomerang effect.
Another unknown is the reaction of the EU, which has so far made available more money to the Montenegrin society than the Government of Montenegro, thus clearly showing that it has not given up on Montenegro, nor on the enlargement policy.
However, the dilemma is whether the EU will now have the strength to deal with a known election offender, because there are others who are looking for such "attention". Like Brother Vučić, who drew the ire of Western centers because of Brother Si.
Back in 1895, US Senator Mark Hanna said: “Two things are important in politics. The first is money, and the second... I forgot the second". The government will distribute the alleged funds for liquidity, and as they are all called our money in official documents, in June and July. In September, a line is drawn on how the tourist season was, how much money arrived from the diaspora and from seafarers, which are our best export branches.
Between that, and little available cash flow data, DPS will soon have to take off its mask and decide when the choices are more convenient for it.
Ripe. On the corona wave.
