The boycott has finally passed from the phase of passive Furundjian resistance to the loudly announced cannonading phase, so to speak. And he immediately achieved great results. Which, I assume, will only multiply in the following days.
Elem, while Sergej was in front of the Russian emperor - in order not to blurt out the fact that Vučić had already collected his signatures - inciting passers-by to sign, a boycott of Effendi approached him, asked him who bought him a chador and then set fire to his head. Then a guy on a bicycle came by, shouting, threatening and waving a screwdriver. The rioters were promptly arrested and prosecuted by the police, and in the Belgrade bazaar and mahals there was a riot followed by severe moral panic.
Of course, an avalanche of announcements (of all colors) followed. All of them, however, were colorless and all looked like an egg. Who becomes... Yu, yu, yu, it is absolutely reprehensible, it is not nice, it is not even "Serbian", and it is not yet democratic.
I personally liked best the announcement - or tweet - of the namesake and surname of the author Hajduk Stanko, Janko Veselinović, which I quote in full: "Today's event in the center of Belgrade with insults and slapping is reprehensible and proof that there are no conditions for free elections."
If Sergej was initially attacked by an Essenesian - which does not mean that, if ordered "from above", one day he will not attack - Vesel(nik)ović's looping would make such a sense, since, however, the president of PSG was attacked by an angry supporter ideas and practices of boycott, it was wiser for Vesel(nik)ović to refrain from trying to transfer the blame to the party which, in fact, bears the blame for many wrongdoings.
For this, which is the topic of our today's column, the more visible boycott of Effendi is not formally blamed, although with good reason it can be pointed out to them (which Sergej did not fail to do) that they are "traitors" with their silly, easy, essentially radical labeling. and the "mercenary" "painted a target on Sergej's forehead".
If you haven't realized until now, now you have an opportunity (which you will surely miss) to finally understand that the epic failure of the so-called "real opposition" stems solely from the fact that what Vučić, SNS & Co. are doing is much worse (and technologically inferior).
The writer wants to say that there are no conditions for free elections, primarily because we don't have any choice.
Whoever they choose - or they refrained from going to the polls and "thereby preserved their dignity" (the latest nonsense from Guzijan's workshop) - we get a hollow Sebastian up to the eyes - at best - or a solid Sebastian in the head, at worst.
But it seems that Vučić cannot hit hard enough - and gild his hand - as much as is necessary for the Serbian people and the Senate to realize that the cause of this nightmare on the edge of science fiction is not this or that Tyrian, but also anachronistic at the time of its creation (auto) destructive upside down cultural model.
