We know from an old folk saying that no one can make a man look like he does himself. Not even a game, we updated our knowledge all week. In an attempt to impress the public with patriotism, at least two members of the former and future governments, at the local and state level, lashed out fiercely.
The desecration of the Montenegrin Metropolitan Arsenij Plamenac's grave is a continuation of the anti-Montenegrin strategic action - Nela Savković-Vukčević ruled before the end of the investigation. And then, for such a factual description, she looked for a context compatible with the democratic tradition of depees. Has the tradition of humiliating Montenegrin holy places continued?!
The Social Democrats, who effectively protected only the airports out of all Montenegrin sanctuaries, at least respected the legal procedure:
- We expect that the prosecutor's office will be up to the task and will do everything in its power to ensure that the perpetrators of that crime are adequately treated and punished in accordance with the law.
And then they sent a harsh message to all those trying to threaten the Montenegrin identity and started an election campaign:
- We will give an adequate response to the co-perpetrators in the collapse of the fundamental values of sovereign Montenegro at the first upcoming election contest.
Depees refrained from campaign promises, but not from drawing a political and human profile of the priest who is under official investigation for alleged grave desecration. Unofficially, he was already found guilty by the mass of jurors of destroying cultural and historical monuments. Not even the state knows whose status, let alone Jovan Plamenac.

It was another small step towards strengthening the combat readiness of Montenegrins after the defeat of the ideology of the same name in the elections. And a big mess!
From the great war for the party church and the attempt to occupy hundreds of monasteries and churches with a blitzkrieg, depees fell to a propaganda battle over a tombstone.
Priest Jovan Plamenac moved the plaque with the authorization of the church, but without the permission of the state. I don't know what the consequences will be for him personally, but because of one that is already felt throughout our common homeland - I will offer him a lawyer pro bono.
Until he started looking for the insignia, I don't believe that more than a thousand Montenegrins knew about Bishop Arsenij. Well, now at least three hundred thousand inhabitants of all religions and nations know.
All Montenegrin archaeologists know that no evidence has ever been found that the bishop was in that particular grave. Only Mladen Zagarčanin dared to tell the truth, the other colleagues are silent as if they fear the revenge of Koza nostra and not the depees...
If we are honest like before life, there is no drastic difference.

My fools, this is a human being, as the best but unfortunately late Montenegrin aphorist Veljko Rajković would say. Not only because of the eruption of ignorance regarding the grave in the municipality of Bar, but also the memorial plaque in Budva.
- In memory of the arrival of the brave victorious Serbian army, which after heroic victories liberated Budva on Mitrovdan 1918 - it is written on that historical plaque. Although the historical truth is drastically different.
Budva was not liberated by a brave, victorious, Serbian, or any other army. There was no battle at all, because the Austro-Hungarian army left that small town after the great black and yellow monarchy was defeated on all fronts. Because of this, it had to withdraw from larger metropolises, such as those in Serbia, Vojvodina, Bosnia and Croatia...
In order not to put pressure on the recent warring parties by quoting modern historians, I will use a classic from the last century and his book "Unification of Montenegro and Serbia 1918".
During the retreat of the Austro-Hungarian army, the only contact with its troops in the territory of Montenegro took place during the battles around Podgorica, on October 17 and 18 - academician Dimitrije Vujović explained not only to the people of Budva back in 1962, using historical and not mythological sources.

I don't have his books at hand, I would like to present at least three to the president of the Budva municipality. I don't know on what basis, but - by the fervor with which he speaks - it seems that he really believes that Serbian heroes are "written in golden letters in the history of the Serbian people and the city of Budva".
Judging by the rapture with which the audience listened to his description of the "liberation battle", one would say that he personally participated in it:
- They bravely stood up in defense of their people and their Budva in the face of a numerous and much stronger enemy. There were 1.100 volunteers from these areas and we are proud of them. Together with all the peoples from the Balkans, on Mitrovdan they won a victory and marched victoriously into this city and brought us a promise for the future?!
And there were no enemies, no victorious march, no promises for the future. Nor is Budva smiling very bright with the president who turned the slogan of his coalition partner into - division and not victory. Because even in his second term, he did not notice that Montenegrins, Bosniaks, Albanians and Croats live in Budva, and apparently he never even heard of atheists and agnostics.
It seems that in the whole story about the alleged liberation of the city, only one fact is indisputable: that on November 8, 1918, Budva was also Mitrovdan.

Three days later, under the memorial plaque, a protest was held by those citizens with whom their president had not yet met. And everything would be in the best democratic order, if those who know that Budva was not liberated by any army, not even the Serbian one, had stuck to the announced theme - the plaque and the inscriptions on it.
They didn't, unfortunately, so the honorable Komite movement and its legendary leader Krsto Zrnov made a mockery of the unknown "Komiite youth".
If they knew anything about the life, work and death of the knight of Montenegro, they would have gathered in front of the President's building and demanded from their great leader to initiate proceedings to annul the decision to declare Krsto Popović a war criminal.
But there is a fragile hope for him, even when he was only the prime minister, all his services about misery amused all the associates so that the extraordinary theater drama of Momir M. Marković, "The Death of Krst Zrnov", with the brilliant Peter Banićević - would not be performed more than twice . And that was too much for them, so the author had to go before the judge...

That is why this pathetic story about the Knight of the Cross remains meaningless, and his glorification is prohibited by law, until the state of Montenegro annuls the decision of the State Commission that he was a war criminal. The fact that the decision says that "his victims are not known" may be salve for the eyes and soul of all who respect him, but everything else that follows must be investigated in order to be denied or confirmed.
And it says that "Krsto Popović concluded an agreement with the commander of the Taro division, General Gino Pedracoli, in order to lead a joint fight against the People's Liberation Army". According to that agreement, "Popović is the only commander on the territory of the regional Italian division Taro".
Maybe OZNA invented it to justify herself for killing him? I would like it to be so, but we need to find evidence.
Even a great admirer of the character and works of Krsto Zrnov, historian Novak Adžić, says that "based on the available historical sources, their analysis and interpretation, it is possible to draw at least a relatively reliable conclusion that Krsto Popović cooperated (collaborated) with the occupying Italian and, in part, German to the authorities".
I would like it not to be true either, and to share Adžić's conviction that "he did it within the limits of national honor and dignity, for the sake of the interests and saving of Montenegro and the Montenegrin people".

No historians are needed for what the leaders of the current Komite movements have to do immediately. But just a hint of respect for Krsto Zrnov and his greenkeepers.
Because you really need to have an iron stomach and not be disgusted by singing about the official Montenegrin hero according to the notes - the unofficial Chetnik anthem.
Which Montenegrin hasn't heard it yet, let him check on Google what feelings will be awakened when he sings to the same melody "And in front of them is a strong military leader, General Popović Krsta/ On his head is a Montenegrin cap, on his shoulder is an overseas rifle" and "I'm shaking, the flowers are shaking in my bush/ We will kill, we will slaughter those who will not be with us"...
This "overseas gun" doesn't really evoke patriotic associations either, but I've had enough history for this week...
PS Is this realistic, the former government that was enthroned in 1989 by the resumption of the Podgorica Assembly suddenly became muanata on November 24. I also wonder why the new government postponed the session of the parliament, even if only for seven days, at the request of the party that postponed the future of Montenegro for thirty years. When Aleksa Bečić presides, it looks like Never again eighteen. When they elected Ivan Brajović on the same date, they wanted to take an oath to coincide with the anniversary of Avnoj. But it is not surprising that there is chaos in their minds because of the events of the last century, when they do not even remember those of two months ago. As the outgoing Prime Minister said, the behavior of the new parliamentary majority and church dignitaries is unacceptable and dangerous. It was as if the corona took a day off on September 6, so the behavior of the old majority and its dignitaries was acceptable and harmless...
