Friday, February 19 - Đorđe Balašević, I can really see now, was the last and only link and continuation of something that was once one. And the only one, let me tell you, provable, and different, different from all the others. And just as it didn't look like anything else, he didn't look like anyone else either. I can only see it now. And hence, he was that country - and then when it disappeared. I'm not exaggerating, really. Come on, think a little. There... can you see that it is so?
- I see, I wanted to answer Đorđe Matić, but I didn't know how. He was Yugoslavia to me too. And only now can I let her go with Him... In fact, it's not that I can, but - I have to. He made me let her go because the two of them are one...
I don't know anything about the journalist Đorđe Matić, but if I could, I would release that farewell essay in all the media and all the networks through all the former Yugoslav countries.
I read who knows how many times, until midnight, and it seems to me that it would be good if the other columnists shut up...
But it's good that they didn't, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to read how priest Gojko Perović understood the life and work of Đorđe Balašević. And he restored the hope that we can understand each other here for the rest of our lives, even though we are persistently working to prevent that from happening.
And we could, but only if we try to understand those who are different from us. And if that understanding becomes louder than our mutual fears. And I completely agree that "we owe this country, these streets, to leave room for some new kids who won't see themselves through that lens" that asks - am I one of them, or am I not at all"...
Now the question is not whether we can, but whether we want to live only next to each other or with each other. What could we not do, when the Pannonian sailor and the Patriarch can argue - I purposely inserted this Turkism - in the column of the parish priest of Cetinje. Who asks himself at the farewell in Novi Sad if it is appropriate to light "ceremonial Jerusalem candles" among other candles and immediately answers to himself:
- You're not going to tell Balašević how much of a believer he is tonight, but light those candles for the man of God...
Saturday, February 20 - Well, when he can "accept the rhyming of pops and cannons to his soul", I have the right to hope for a better understanding of the two Montenegros. And I had barely recovered myself when - the bell rings in Nikšić...
We have experienced in the past decades that it is difficult to understand. But that the lime used to paint the past corrodes the brain to such an extent that I did not hope for that until the militant introduction of patriotic committees into the Ides of March.
I don't want to be gloomy, they have nothing to do with the Roman one apart from the name... But it will be a miracle, when the combat readiness of the whole of Montenegro is raised to the highest level only because of what follows our Caesar - another political defeat...
- Get rid of your delusions and Greater Serbian ideas, because not a single meter of Montenegrin land, Montenegrin cultural monuments and Montenegrin sanctuaries, for which you do not have valid legal proof, will not be transferred to the property of Serbia - shouted the speakers one after the other.
Dispelling fear with a shout, like children in the dark, because now they themselves see what the supreme command did not want to tell them at the beginning of the offensive. Yes, from the victory in Nikšić - there is nothing.
In vain and firing at the Montenegrins from Ura for raising a "treasonous hand for the Law on Freedom of Religion"... "Montenegrin monasteries and churches built by Montenegrin rulers and the Montenegrin people" were not registered in the SPC this January, but one by one since January 1989
The latter, it seems to me, was Ostrog. Junački defended himself until 2012, and then Depees overbooked him as well.
I would also like it if all the temples built by Montenegrins belonged to the CPC, but unfortunately it has been gone for a long time.
The last attempt to restore it failed in the nineties. When Depees claimed that the Ustaše had become vampiric, and the hawthorn stake in the heart of the CPC was precisely the one with which the patriotic committees are now in a coalition.
Sunday, February 21 - This house arrest is really terrible. The whole day in front of the screen, and on all channels the breaking news that Raško Konjević sent an open letter to Aleksa Bečić. About some non-transparent, anti-democratic and anti-European problems, about comprehensive and constructive solutions...
He also mentioned some key priorities in focus, but I can't tell you about them because I lost myself already in the first quarter...
Monday, February 22 - Finally, some good news - vaccination starts tomorrow. The Minister of Health will receive the first vaccine.
It's good, I thought, that Dr. Jelena Borovinić-Bojović is receiving her. They trust her as a pulmonologist and those who criticize her as a minister will dispel at least some of the doubts spread by the anti-vaccine lobby.
I'm waiting for depees to continue his patriotic rant about traitorous vaccines, but nothing. Only the next day did Sanja Damjanović speak up.
- Her vaccine could have saved someone's life. Dear citizens, if I were in her place, I wouldn't be able to look you in the eye - the former minister was impressive, even though she knows that in all countries the first vaccine is given to ministers of health, prime ministers or presidents.
She did not explain what she was looking at when, only after the end of her mandate during which she was celebrated as a non-party person, she admitted that she had been a member of the DPS since the nineties.
- Malignant influences from the outside, creating an atmosphere of fear and hopelessness, is a situation that Nikšić and the people of Nikšić do not remember - this is how she saw her city a few days ago.
When she joined the party, she did not notice anything unusual, neither in Nikšić nor in Montenegro. He only remembers that "the political events in the Balkans were extremely complex and difficult".
- I wanted to be part of a political movement that aimed to return Montenegro to itself and its citizens, and after that to trace the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration - as if she had drawn the DPS from the nineties.
Leaving the dear citizen, that is me, to wonder if there is a dear citizen whom Sanja Damjanović can, after this, look in the eyes...
Tuesday, February 23 - The holder of the list said in vain, her party has not moved on from the nineties, but she does not hide it.
- The business does not bark for the sake of the village, but for its own sake - the primitivism worthy of that wartime boiled over in the DPS's response to the analysis of the editor-in-chief of Vijesti.
Is this possible? It did, and that's nothing to what followed.
It is also possible that the government that forced the biggest slaughter in Europe after the Second World War, burned tens of thousands of homes in the neighborhood and killed who knows how many civilians... complains to Vijesti because of what it did in the war for peace.
- Not even a mention of the ruthless war propaganda of Greater Serbia which, in addition to the percentages on the census, took thousands of lives on the battlefields - grumbles the party which sent at least 250 Montenegrin young men to their deaths for a gram of power...
- In politics, as well as in psychology, dual identity, i.e. a split personality is the result, most often, of repressed trauma - the party that came to power with a Montenegrin name and a Serbian surname hit on schizophrenia.
- Stories about the false threat of Serbia have always been preludes to bloody armed confrontations - describes itself the party that, by spreading lies about threatened Serbia, managed to, for the first time in the long history of war, introduce Montenegro - a war of occupation...
Wednesday, February 24 - President Milo Đukanović, after several months of public outrage, still signed decrees on the ambassador's recall. And buried the vain hopes of all who trusted in him.
And then, like a gambler who kills himself by gambling, he buried himself with the explanation.
- It is about revanchism with which the new Government shows its true political face and ultimate responsibility towards the state - he tried to explain to the public what he could not even do to himself: why he joined the new government in this "revanchism and irresponsibility".
- Ambassadors whose impeachment is proposed cannot be qualified as persons who work to the detriment and against the interests of the state. That's why I haven't issued decrees until now. And that's why I asked for a correction of the explanation publicly announced by Government officials - Đukanović publicly consoled himself.
He knows very well why he issued the decrees, for the same reason that made him sign the Law on Religious Communities. He would have been removed, because the Constitutional Court, since it fiercely defended the rights of Milan Knežević, is no longer trusted.
Thursday, February 25 - I don't have time to wait for the end of this conflict between the state and Tuza, but I have enough experience with the attitude of every Montenegrin government towards this municipality.
I am not sure that this humiliation of the Albanians was intentional, but I agree with Niko Đeljošaj that - they were humiliated.
Not so much the health measures as their reasoning.
If they were brought because "the citizens of Podgorica will visit Tuzi", then those citizens should have been prevented from leaving Podgorica, and not the citizens of Tuzi from living and working normally...
Uh, did I start the diary with a story about understanding...
