We're gonna eat shit

In one of Marquez's cult novels (There is no one to write to the colonel), after a long wait, the Colonel still, after fifteen years of waiting, does not receive a pension. To the woman's question: "What are we going to eat now?", he answers with the sentence he had been preparing for a long time: "We are going to eat shit!"

A couple of decades before Marques, therefore he was not inspired by the famous Colombian but by anti-communist America, Svetozar Vukmanović Tempo, Tito's champion, originally from Režević, in the immediate vicinity of Kraljičina and Miločer beach, told the enemy - "We will eat grass".

Decades have passed, Markes arrived in our bookstores, but I doubt that Branko Kostić cared for such literature. The head of the then Presidency of the SFRY, a disappearing state, ardently ridiculed the "unjust sanctions" of the hateful West in this way: "We will eat the roots". Which was just the Montenegrin version of the much more subtle message of his boss from Požarevac (Milošević): "Serbia will not bow down."

The sentence "We will eat grass" is, in fact, hypnotic, concludes Dž. K. Kuper, who in his Dictionary of symbols he talks about grass as a symbol of submission. About the pride of those who graze. Therefore, it is a question of subjugation of subjects. The rulers, in fact, tell us: "Shut up and take care".

And here we come to (the great) Alexander of Serbia. Who, I'm sure, has also read Cooper, while he knows Markes by heart, so witty critics commented on one of his quarrels with the heir to the throne, Karađorđević, over the unpaid bills for the White House's electricity, with the words: "Pay and eat."

After grass and roots, these days we came to beer and kebabs in Miločer. For one euro. Our Milo reads poorly, but he tries not to fall behind Vučić in terms of style. "Pay and eat", could be the message that the president sent us these days when he said that the iconic Queen's Beach was exposed to ridicule, because "some who came with their blankets and umbrellas are trying to alienate something that is not theirs"!

On the one hand, sociological or ethical, the question for Đukanović is: does he see his responsibility if among "all those who came with blankets and umbrellas" there are many who, like Marquez's hero, have a late pension?! Or as if he is late - because of the one who thanks to the Government they receive regularly, they can live for ten days. While the rest of the month - they eat grass. Not to quote Gabriel.

There will be those who will say that this is populism and that the Queen's Beach is not for every Montenegrin (or Serb), just as Monte Carlo is not for every Frenchman, and Dubai is not for every Arab. And just such a message is sent by an organized propaganda group, and then the president himself takes it over from it, treating the problem as a class problem (capitalism and socialism) and delivering the bill to the current government. What is national, what is local. Then they would find out how our honorable beaches, the pride of Montenegro, are actually in the jurisdiction of Đukanović's strategic investor, Statis. Whoever was behind him. I don't mean Milo, but Pua, Shinawatra and whoever else. Darko Pajović, for example?!

As the head of the party, Đukanović can perhaps be on the side of investors and not on the defender of the state, but as the president of Montenegro, he has no choice. Which means that instead of advocating for Statis, even encouraging him to sue us in court in London and ask for fabulous compensation, he should have brought the Greek to the cabinet and told him - pay and watch. Which would be just a metaphor - if you are going to reap earnings and profits from our field, you have to respect its owner, that is, this country.

Instead, since Đukanović reprimanded the state, that is, the government, not the investor, Statis jumped to Belgrade to later brag to us that Vučić's little one from the kitchen, Goran Vesić, warmly welcomed him and opened the door for his future investments. And the Greek tells us all this through Vučić's television in Montenegro (A1). Thus ignoring numerous propaganda platforms in their own possession. There is a small probability that Statis went to AV and was admitted there without being searched and held for several hours at the airport, and that Đukanović did not know about that trip and the plans of his strategic investor. Again, it's hard to believe that the president didn't learn a lesson from the years-long passionate relationship with Alexander of Serbia that cost him power. And that he cares about restoring ties with the Serbian leader. Although everything is possible in politics, even that Vučić awards a new order to Mandić, who as recently as yesterday, informally and behind the scenes, claimed that he is a professional Serb and that it costs him a lot.

But that is not the topic of this text. Here the question is where did the beer, kebabs and blankets come from, and finally the cows and the real pasture, in front of Miločer and "Kraljica", when this same DPS, with the infamous Pajović, gave Statis all those wonderful places and our biggest brand, to use and manage the next few decades. It turns out, in fact, that Statis should pick up all the blankets, tents and beer cans that were left after "all of them", and that Pua and Shinavatra should borrow those cows in front of Miločer, and thus bring the complex to use. Otherwise, they force us to paranoid conclusions such as those with blankets and tents, and those with beer and kebabs, even the cows themselves, are brought by these same investors, or they are encouraged to come in just such an edition in order to provoke the "power of the state". (DPS again)?! Which would be one of the crowning proofs for Statis at the arbitration in London that "all of them", in this case state authorities, came there "to alienate something that is not actually theirs".

With statements like these, the president of the state is recommended to Statis as an ideal witness in court tomorrow. Against your own country. Which he created for us, as the DPS and other services say. And in which, despite their politics, 45 percent of citizens still declare themselves Montenegrins, and only 7 percent would vote tomorrow for the renewal of the union with Serbia. Among Đukanović's subjects, there are those who do not have enough for a blanket and an umbrella, nor for one-euro kebabs and beer, because they eat roots from the tenth of the month. And it didn't have to be the case that DPS didn't eat shit. Creating a private and not a civil state and spending a decade with Vučić, who is now telling them - graze freely, I will pay.
