The quietest so far PINK OCTOBER. Has the corona pandemic surpassed the cancer pandemic in Montenegro? At least something nice is knowing that there is a BUDI HUMAN Foundation to help children with cancer and the empathy of all those who can set aside part of the funds for those who really shouldn't get sick. Because children are an extension of life, joy and hope for all parents.
Illness does not choose by age, it simply knocks on the door slyly. Walk through the pains from treatment to recovery. But don't lie, these are expensive diseases...
These days, we can increasingly see appeals for help to the sick and treatment abroad. I personally saw the boxes on the counters, people are powerless, crying for help. I wonder why it has to be like that, why the community and society do not take into account, or are such patients who need treatment abroad still left to fend for themselves and the suffering never ends. And we only have one life, and it doesn't have a replay.
We are very familiar with the story of the jubilee 10-year struggle with these plagues. Because as the old say - the debt did not die, but the return.
Data that every fourth citizen in Montenegro is hungry - what will happen to such people if they get sick, who will help them? What are the possibilities for all those with social benefits, pensions in the range of 90 to 200 euros? Miserably and sadly, the prices are increasing enormously, so it is best that the disease bypasses them.
I think that patients with malignancies are among the most vulnerable categories during the pandemic. How much care is taken of all of them? There are always plenty of questions, time flows relentlessly, those who have not passed cannot expect to be understood.
There is no anger, who knows, I hope for better days and more beautiful next OCTOBER.
