A dear colleague made a considerable effort Bacanovic to explain that in fact I made a great effort to prove that the leader Ure Abazović did not let anyone down or anything... And that he is a visionary. It really took quite a bit of effort to prove that my text said something like that. Something I didn't write. It would even be logically unsustainable for me to write something like that - that a politician did not let anyone and anything down!
But from the explanation of my dear colleague Bačanović, I understood that Abazović let him down a lot. And I not only understand that, but I can also add - I know or imagine that there are hundreds and thousands more who, like dear Vuk, were betrayed by Dritan's infidelity. I guess it is also clear to my colleague Bačanović that I am not among them, the disappointed ones. But not because I am enthusiastic about every move of Abazović, even less because I consider him a visionary already at the beginning of his career, but because I deeply disagree with the interpretation of the electoral will in the way that my dear colleague Bačanović does. And numerous politicians in Montenegro.
So what's the difference? From the text of my colleague Bačanović, it turns out that the electoral victory was won at rallies, that it was won by the Serbs (who will now get a leg up) and that then the electoral will is reduced to the interest of the Church. Prime Minister Krivokapić himself defined the same very honestly, but also a little too late: My only political goal was to change the Law on Freedom of Religion. Thank you ZK for your honesty, but, I say, too late - because if he had announced this when he received the mandate in September 2020, I personally would never have supported his election as prime minister, as I did. Because, in my opinion, that would be the biggest betrayal of the electoral will.
Colleague Bačanović, as a great regional author and analyst, should know that the electoral will expressed on August 30, 2020 was not only an expression of rebellion against the bad Law on Freedom of Religion, but much, much more than that. It would be ungrateful to bid on how many elements of that electoral will contributed more and which less contributed to the historic victory. But it must be clear to any objective observer that among the nearly 210.000 victorious voters there were thousands, tens of thousands of those, like my little one, who voted for one of the then opposition parties even though they are not believers, even though they are not Serbs, even though they are not pan-Slavic, even though they for science and not religious education, although before the Law on Freedom of Religion, their more important reason for voting was their faith in the government without corruption, without party recruitment, without nepotism, without lynching of independent media and journalists, without populism, without faking EU negotiations and mocking European values .
That is why, if I were in the place of my dear colleague Bačanović and many of his like-minded people, I would not enter into the addition and subtraction of those votes from 2020, because I am afraid that their electoral will, embodied in the "defense of the holy places", would remain in a significant minority. What Đukanović and his propaganda could not wait to say, which they are doing, saying that Abazović in fact only now admitted that he made a mistake after the 2020 elections and that he actually betrayed his electoral will then because he added the votes of Ura, as they like to say, To the Church of Serbia and Mother Russia.
And I claimed then and I claim now - Abazović did not issue his electoral will either in 2020 or 2022 - not because I am a DA fan or because I consider him a visionary, but because this is a fact. Even then and today, Abazović chose the path that, in his opinion and in the opinion of the management of Ura, is better for society. Time and the next elections will show whether they were right.
Dear colleague Bačanović does not want to wait for the elections, he already knows that Abazović made the wrong choice, that he failed, even killed all hope. And then he gets mad at me for not seeing it, for not being that smart, but I say it restrainedly in my text How will time tell if Abazović took too big a bite?! And that it would have been smarter for him to remain silent like Aleksa and wait on the sidelines for someone else to break his brain.
But also when it comes to the timing, I think it was the last hurray for someone to stop the chaos that the policy of the Government and the ruling majority has turned into in the last few months, especially since the beginning of September. I am surprised that my colleague Bačanović did not notice that in recent months the politics of the rulers in Montenegro has reduced to the worst populism, abuse of state resources for party purposes, court intrigues and conspiracies, and that the orthodox prime minister and his babies have been at the forefront of this. With the assistance, of course, of all other factors and the majority. Europe now. On the one hand. And on the other hand, in the previous months we were looking at the accelerated realization of the ONLY political goal of the prime minister and his babies, which is to please the Church. And that's how we came not only to the local parish priest at the University's Board of Directors, but to Dveri, the head of the Film Center of Montenegro, again along the same lines, to Minister Bratić, who spreads hate speech and prepares schools for religious education, to Minister Mitrović, the brother of another parish priest, who continues to build an illegal house in Budva while hundreds of other citizens of this country or investors are waiting months for permits for their projects. They can do it, the Church stands behind them - that was the motto of the personnel policy of Krivokapić and his... Everything was foreboding, it can be seen better now than before the fall of this Government, that Montenegro is moving faster towards the Orthodox Caliphate than towards the European Union. And that's why I'm personally grateful to Ura for making that move and ending the long agony. As I said, at the last moment to save the society from the aforementioned direction. And choosing which is more tragic - the Orthodox caliphate or DPS in power, to paraphrase DF MP Knežević, is like choosing between lung cancer and brain cancer. It is a problem for the entire society if it is condemned to such a choice. And the political elites are responsible for that. Everyone in order. Of course, some less and some more, and DPS the most.
His colleague Bačanović has a slightly excessive attitude - he sees and knows in advance that, as he says, the Serbs will get a leg up even though they won the elections. First, respected colleague, the 2020 elections were won by the citizens. Of all nationalities and religions, including us stateless and agnostics. And there were also heretics in the electoral will. I know some personally. Second, it is a populist platitude that incites bigotry. Third, it is quite clear that the political representatives of Montenegrin Serbs will mostly decide on their place and participation in government. Such populism produces chauvinism of the "Muslim mother" type, "we don't want Šiptar", etc. A lot of emotions push society into a dead end, and that, I'm sure, is not the goal of my colleague Bačanović. Because such an approach leads to violence. Only elections and electoral will are an indicator of whether a politician or party made a mistake, failed, or betrayed. And on them Mr. Abazović, whenever those elections take place, in a month or a year, together with the other leaders, take the exam. And not with me or with my colleague Bačanović. Until then, to relax dear Vuk - whoever is in power in Montenegro now or in the future, the Church and the bishops will not be displaced anywhere or, as colleague Bačanović panicked, destroyed. The church has survived over two thousand years of various Sodoms and Gomorrahs, and so will DPS.
Finally, about DPS - almost everything that my colleague Bačanović wrote about that party is more or less true. I can also sign. What I don't agree with I will explain with a question. In other words, the dilemma: is the DPS divided and weakened by the current policy of the Krivokapić government or by some new story that, at least according to the announcement, should lead to the unblocking of the EU negotiations - and that means a much stronger fight against corruption and crime, through the establishment of functional judicial institutions. How will this happen if DPS supports the minority government? Good question and may I say - it seems like an impossible mission. But the one who decided on such a move, namely Abazović and Ura, will reap the fruits of such a decision, whether sweet or bitter. Then it will be seen whether Abazović was a visionary or a cock who crowed prematurely.
But what we have already seen since August 2020 in that matter - it did not happen again. It can't go any higher, Vuč, I would say. And Vuk calls it hope. And DPS is still the strongest in the opposition after a year and a half. And how strong it would be if we still had the old Prosecutor's Council, the old acting VDT, the old SDT (I reckon Mourinho will be fired these days), so the hard core DPS. So who has worked for DPS so far. And who issued the electoral will so far?! And who failed?! And if DPS led to lung cancer and metastases in 30 years, why did the hope called Krivokapić cause brain cancer in a year and a half. True, in the early stages. I leave it to my colleague Bačanović to answer for himself. If he does that objectively, then he will conclude that hope was killed from the first day it was born, which was September 1, 09, and that all visionaries participated in that killing of hope. I agree, DF the most. But the others are not innocent either. Especially not ZK and his babies. And their patron - the Church. God forgive me, what would Bečić say. Or one of his Reds.
