It will soon be two months since the 42nd Government was voted no-confidence in the Parliament of Montenegro, which bore the epithet expert, and many affectionately called it "apostolic". The co-authors of the idea of replacing the Government presented to the public the project of a minority government, which, as they initially announced, would "return Montenegro to the path of European integration and prepare for extraordinary parliamentary elections". The deposed Government, whose ministers are allergic to the epithet "technical", handles current affairs according to the principle of "every minister for himself", and the Prime Minister "in his own way". Constituents of the future so-called "European" governments, headed by the president, very often hold press conferences, constantly expanding the agenda, which even the Brussels administration would not be able to implement in the one year period, which will eventually be the duration of their mandate. Opponents of the formation of a minority government are "holding" the Parliament and, occasionally, the main roads in Montenegro, while most of our cities have been given a "political corridor". Vele - "everything according to the law and the Constitution". Thus, the quarreling and divided Montenegro found itself in a position to function without the Assembly, the Government, the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Council of Defense and much more at a time of great global political and economic crisis.
Since the day of Russian aggression against Ukraine, nothing has been the same in the whole world. Looking at the horrors of war, enormous human sacrifices, material destruction and millions of columns of refugees, the citizens, allegedly, think less about the events in their own house? The fear of war conflicts in the Balkans is not small, but it is not as big as many analysts of global and local situations spread it! However, we all think about the moment we live in and struggle to survive. Instead of, in critical times, freezing their ideological and all other differences, and suppressing spite and hatred, in order to devote themselves to the welfare of the state and citizens, our politicians fight their battles for power and seats. The government in its technical mandate cannot adopt strategically important decisions, due to different views on Russian aggression, while the minority, so-called the "European" government in the making, develops its political theories, in order, as its constituents boast, to solve all inherited and new problems in the country, including inter-ethnic reconciliation. According to what has been leaked to the public, it, like every one so far, is drawn up according to the principle of "boy, you will be a minister".
Since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, world economic experts and institutions have been announcing an economic crisis, which, after the Russian aggression against Ukraine, rapidly reached unprecedented proportions, with a tendency to further worsen. There is a lot of talk and writing about the rise in the prices of oil, grain, oil, meat and everything that life means to citizens, but the fact that traders, like politicians, "hunt in the dark" cannot be overlooked. For example, for over ten years, consumers paid 500 euros for a loaf of bread of 600-0,50 grams, even in periods when fuel was not too expensive, and the retail price of flour was around 0,25 euros per kilogram. We had the absurd situation that a loaf of bread cost as much as two kilograms of flour. Now the bakers are clamoring for a big margin, but they kept quiet when they were making good money! We understand the global problem of wheat shortage, but we can never understand why the quality of bread, at least here in Nikšić, is below any standard?! Honor to some small bakeries! The question arises whether the price of bread will be lower if Montenegro provides sufficient quantities of wheat?! Or will everyone be taken out on the price of fuel?
During the industrialization of the Republic of Montenegro (FNRJ, SFRJ), Montenegrin villages were emptied and agricultural production, which we would now like to revive, rang the bell. Then the "young, beautiful and smart" came to power, ruthlessly destroying industry and stratifying society. They built a tourist economy, which, in times of crisis, is not very useful. Even though they were born in SFRY, they always forgot the current motto of President Tito: "We work as if we will live for a hundred years, we prepare as if there will be war tomorrow."
