I can understand Milo Đukanović whom the local leaders of the Serbs call out for being theirs in the 90s, a greater Serb than Vojvoda and Pipun, so he, in order to prove the opposite, every now and then goes out to the Belvedere, waving the flag, standing defiantly on the defense of his homeland.
I understand the former SDP leader and unsuspecting head of state even better Darling - she herself admits that she is half Serbian, but she doesn't leave the Belvedere either, chasing what she calls Serbs around their native Montenegro. The reason is her partner, not the money. Namely, career Ivica Stanković in the Montenegrin judiciary and prosecutor's office, it went in an upward line proportionally to the spread of the tentacles of the criminal octopus in the same judiciary.
So far, independent media, a couple of NGOs, the European Commission have reported on this, and now they will testify about everything Vesna Medenica, her son, Blazo Jovanić and maybe Stanković himself will appear. At least in the capacity of a citizen at the prosecution or as a witness in court. That's why I understand Draginja - patriotism is the best refuge for Ivica.
But Đukanović and Vuksanović, DPS and SDP, which boast of being civil and European, can really be accepted as such if they are compared to SD and Šehović.
The so-called patriotism that the new leader of the SD and his comrades spill on the media and social networks almost every day, they see the biggest, if not the only, danger for the survival and development of Montenegro in official Belgrade.
The Great Serbian ala lurks from the Basic Treaty, the Open Balkans, the Serbian World, advisory positions Vlada Pavićević and the main towers of Belgrade on the water. Where perhaps one of the partners or contractors of the recent president of SD Ivan Brajović have or can afford at least one apartment - with a view of the river.
It turns out that the average salary in sovereign Montenegro has increased by a fantastic 15 percent in 9 years, and the debt of the state by more than 120 percent, because Kostunica imitated Callimero, Tadic chased Pen a Vucic was the best student of Đukanović. Until he showed him what it means to be a professor. All that jazz of patriotism, even though patriotism is always just kitsch, would be tolerable for the ears and eyes, if the champions of SD for the past 15 years had cared more about the state coffers and less about the flag and anthem. Or that they at least directed a word of criticism to the true founder of the SD (Đukanović) during the years of Milo and Aleksandar's brotherhood, while Pink, Infomer, Prva, Blic, Hepi, and the rest of the propaganda army with which Montenegro was conquered more deeply and tragically than the troops of the king metastasized here Aleksandra. Or Osman Pasha.
It's really kitsch, not jazz, when today's belvedere heroes, instead of fighting corruption and organized crime, try to keep society and the state in a state of frustration and inferiority, where the blame for their own defeats and failures, corruption and crime, is always found in someone else.
Even the greatest shame for the state that broke with Europol and the transcripts from the Sky application, where it was shown how the judiciary and the state apparatus functioned, why the president himself recently took objective responsibility, failed to confront the promoters of vain post-referendum patriotism with the fact that the only danger that threatens Montenegro are ignorance and primitivism. From which deviations such as corruption, crime, nepotism, inequality, lawlessness and that fake patriotism are born.
That's why I expected that Damir Šehović, after taking over the leadership of the party, faced with the situation he found himself in, the corrupt Brajović, the parasitic SD on the back of the DPS, the court processes of the party leaders, that he would therefore first return the apartment he got under unfair conditions from the government he belonged to member, and then strike at Ivo Ramada's legacy so that a contract like the one with the Chinese SRBC would never happen again, or that no credit card of a member, let alone the SD leader, would be covered by the money of a local businessman or bank owner. I was hoping that Šehović, rather than Vučić, would attack Milo, accusing him of immaturity, naivety, or even bad intentions, because he spread the rumor about the fraternal and never better relationship of one master for an extended period of 8-9 years. Serbia against tiny Montenegro, so that, overnight, there would be discord and bitter hatred. And the Belvedere. With Chankom and with his stick on the bumper of the fatherland.
If after everything we have read so far in the Europol reports, in what we saw after the adoption of the tragic Law on Freedom of Religion, if after Pink and Informer while they were in the service of DPS and SD, if in the return of values, the state as a cultural address, that I'm not mentioning Ramada again and the plot in Bjelopavlići sold at 33 times higher than the market price - if in all those inactions that were born after the referendum and in 2006, the heroes from Belvedere do not see what is perhaps the only and certainly the greatest danger for this country and society - then nothing.
May Šehović be happy with the Basic Agreement, Milo with the Open Balkans and Draginja with Ivica. As a symbol of the rule of law and transitional justice.
Finally, just one remark about the famous Open Balkans. Just as we swore in the Berlin process, which, like the highway, led us from nowhere to nothing, it would not be a surprise if we went through the same thing with OB.
But neither one nor the other will humiliate, embarrass or distance Montenegro from EU integration. Especially not as a domestic evil, chapters 23 and 24. Macedonians would even say that they profited a lot from the OB, getting through him the recognition of the autocephaly of the MPC.
Fans Porphyria and Constantinople will say that everything is solved thanks to Bartholomew and to Mother Church and not to Father Alexander, but we all know very well where we live and how things work. Anyway, happy reconciliation of the two Orthodox communities. And to Šehović and Draginja, happy Europol. I mean sequels, not already released.
