Whenever drivers who are not from Podgorica do not find their way around a roundabout, the people of Podgorica laugh at them, they make fun of non-Podgorica license plates. They are jubilant. These are small and insignificant victories of those who, based on their birth, consider themselves greater citizens than other newcomers, even though they still leave a bag of garbage in the hallway in front of the door, and litter the grass. It's all Mr. Ad.
People also love to lie down on the horn when someone from the boulevard wants to turn left into Slobode Street near the late Hotel Crna Gora, and they "know" not to laugh. From the moment when the pillar, the indicator, was placed, until the moment it became common knowledge, a lot of Morača has passed. But everyone pretends to be smart, that is, smarter than others, more civil than others.
One of the biggest residents of Podgorica long ago placed a sign with the inscription "Dentist" at the entrance to the office, so he soon had to change it and write "Dentist" because people came to complain about stomach problems. These days, the road to the vulcanizer is paved with insane intentions. We also got the yellow ribbon, as it should be, we got it overnight. Someone will say, and they won't be far wrong, that a frog saw where the horses were being slaughtered, so there are yellow stripes for us too.
Here we are, so that people don't know what to do with her. Because no one is crazy to crush plastic with wheels on purpose. There are all kinds of people from Podgorica, but the vast majority love their cars, maybe even too much.
Such moves, which concern residents, require education. Advertising! So, to reach people through all communication channels, to explain to them what it means, where that yellow tape comes from. It was possible to count down to its launch, to make a spectacle out of it. It could have been anything, but it was nothing. Not enough. Instead of the tape being useful, for people to bless it because it brings them good, everyone spits on it.
Because, if everything was buzzing, if someone was a guest on the shows and explained day by day, if the campaign "Yellow tape - salvation for citizens and drivers" was created, the wheels wouldn't have crushed the plastic stops, people wouldn't have cursed.
It was enough to tell the citizens, or at least to assume how many lives could be saved if the ambulances drove through the yellow lane even though it was crowded and rush hour. If that information had reached the people, there would have been nothing from the mockery.
Everything is counterproductive, spite and the "back-and-forth" technique. A man can decide on Saturday, to make a firm decision that he will run a marathon tomorrow, Sunday. But that decision is futile because it is not applicable. He has to train every day for months to run a marathon. It's the same with the city. You cannot turn Podgorica into a "European capital" overnight. It can't because it's a process, and it's not enough to snap your fingers, draw a bike lane or fence off a yellow strip.
Podgorica would be much more beautiful, in terms of appearance, and a nicer place to live, if they had not "decorated" it. mugi i Me. Their successor may be more washed and tidy than them, he doesn't smell his own armpits and knows cases, he doesn't beat journalists, but he didn't deviate from their path either, although many hoped he would be his own.
