The Constitution of Montenegro, the Law on the Election of the President of Montenegro, the Law on the Election of Councilors and Members of Parliament, the Law on Montenegrin Citizenship, the Law on Internal Affairs and all necessary administrative procedures for the upcoming presidential elections remain in the shadow of the announced decision of the Collegium of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Constitutional Committee on the potential election of judges of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro... Another party commercialism directly violated Article 10 of the Law of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro. Quite simply, the competent working body of the Parliament of Montenegro did not establish its proposal for the selection of judges autonomously and based on the evaluation of the professional competences of the candidates. These days, Bogišić's hunchback will be confirmed! Through the vagueness of the reasoned candidacies for the Constitutional Court, it will be confirmed that Montenegro will wait a long time for the foundations of constitutionalism - political power regulated by legal regulations and institutions!
In his works, Herman Hesse interpreted real events philosophically and tried to determine a certain spiritual meaning in all of them. In "Demijan", which he published under the pseudonym Emil Sinclair, he states: "Nothing in the world is more disgusting to a man than to follow the path that leads him to himself!"
Judging by the upcoming presidential elections, we can say that this is also the case with today's Montenegro. These elections will be shrouded in the rumor that "no one hates anyone as a traitor to the betrayed homeland", as well as objections that most of the candidates have citizenship of the Republic of Serbia. More precisely, during the days of March, we will experience another identity turmoil and the rhetoric of a spent ideology, which will be directly supported by official Serbia. Of course, the quasi-protégés of the politics of the 90s during these elections will not only be those who openly advocate Putinism, but also those who, after May 21, 2006, squeezed the middle class through a large seizure of its real income. This three-decade-long kleptobrachy, through alleged Europeanism and the concept of respect for religious freedom, openly encouraged clero-nationalism, which brought it down from power. In this infernal relationship, we also have neo-European populism, which at the very start criminally indebted us for 750 million euros! Even more, they irresistibly remind of the young and beautiful from the beginning of the 90s, but, unlike them, they are already caught up in the fact that "they don't believe themselves even when they tell the truth!"
For this fatal trinity, the upcoming elections for the first man of Montenegro will also serve as a new excuse for not electing the Supreme State Prosecutor, complementing the composition of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Councils, as well as for the non-transparency of the work of the public administration. The Law on Free Access to Information and many legal texts will remain in the drawers, while some will be put on the agenda of the Parliament of Montenegro without a public hearing. The current political establishment tacitly agreed not to talk about the reform of the entire electoral system - about open lists and the possibility of self-nomination of citizens for councilors in local elections, as well as the return of direct election of municipal presidents. A crow does not take out its eyes, and no one washes the hands of our politicians!
In this tacit alliance of party oligarchs, it is known that "if a man is afraid of someone, it comes from the fact that he has ceded power over himself to someone." Who are its citizens with the right to vote afraid of in Montenegro? The party, clergy, media moguls and who knows what else?
The upcoming March election will very definitely confirm how we have actually come from a lofty aspiration towards the EU to a crying despair after all these years. Well, nothing like the work of the current and illegitimate government confirms how farcical almost all EU involvement in Montenegro was! The previous DrPS government simulated, while the latter two governments essentially sank everything that smelled of the EU before them. Extensive observation of this process, as well as the election for the President of Montenegro, will confirm the rule from the 90s - while simmering, Europe always watches from the side, but through its ambassadors it gives everything a very good spice! Maybe these elections will really be historic, if their results show who were the "idiots" among the MEPs for Oliver Varheli. The EU Enlargement Commissioner will probably be able (or already very much able, but this will be shown by the analysis of the conspiratorial consequences of the aggression against Ukraine) to "objectively" see all the consequences of the "expansion of the hegemonic concept of the Serbian world in Montenegro" after the presidential elections.
Be that as it may, the majority of Montenegrin citizens will have the opportunity to observe during these days that all political rhetoric does not take place, as the previously quoted Hesse said, between "people who have the courage and character to be unpleasant to other people", but between those who and they act and live according to the principle "if we hate someone, then in their character we hate something that is instilled in us/them themselves". This Mediterranean stone has long had an ear to listen to the arrival of hurricane winds!
PS It may not be appropriate to express it this way, but I am very proud and grateful to all the members of the National Team from Montenegro who participated in the rescue missions in the area affected by the earthquakes in Turkey. They gave us everything we need most - sacrifice and emotion! Chojski and heroic!
