The tautology, only apparent, of Andrija Mandić's candidacy is primarily that the one who supports his presidential nomination the most must actually do everything to prevent Andrija from becoming the president of Montenegro by any chance. Because Vučić does not need, at least not at this moment, a Duke on the throne of King Nikola, among other things because Serbs in Montenegro cannot be nationally oppressed, with permanent attacks on their history, religion and Church, and at the same time have a Serb president .
Simply, it doesn't work like that, and the moment is delicate. The recognition of Kosovo's independence and the introduction of sanctions against fraternal Russia hang over Serbia like the sword of Damocles. Spring is coming and with it a time of difficult decisions for Vučić. It is necessary to sign everything and everyone's help of the Serbian world, including this one in Montenegro, can be valuable in such a situation. Aca Serb, while initialing all sorts of things, must not renounce Montenegrin, ANB, Swiss, snipers aimed at the man who despises bulletproof vests, endangered Serbs in Montenegro in one word.
After all, Vučić cannot allow himself to be without Milo right now because Đukanović best understands how important this balance of mutual (un)friendship is for both of them.
And not only that, Milo, on the other hand, the best and most intelligent of all the pretenders to the throne, sees that Montenegrins in Montenegro are no less threatened than Montenegrin Serbs.
So it's pretty simple. In order for Vučić to be able to successfully lead and protect the Montenegrin and other Serbs in the motherland and dispersion, Andrija Mandić must not become president because that is the best way to protect the interests of the Serbian nation in Montenegro. Well, also the interest of Aleksandar Vučić, but that goes without saying.
Andrija, therefore, must lose, but the defeat must be dignified: in the second round, with a small difference and mandatory election manipulations and vote theft. For Andrija, Pipun and the other Serbian archers, the role of victim is predetermined. Not the winner. All that remains is, if not already, someone tells Mandić that too.
However, Vučić's pain is not the only one. Well, he got rid of Spajić with the selfless help of Milojko himself, but it is very important for the survival and struggle of Serbs in Montenegro and Vučić in Serbia that Jakov Milatović or Aleksa Bečić do not get the presidential chair. Such an outcome of the election would put Vučić in an unenviable position.
Just imagine how frivolous it would look if, on Sunday mornings, at Jovana na Pink, Dragan J. Vučićević and Nebojša Krstić spent two hours lamenting how Jakov, hey Jakov, threatens the Serbian habitus in Montenegro?! Or that Aleksa is preparing the liquidation of Aleksandar Vučić in agreement with the barracks or skaljars and Velja Nevolja?! And what's worse, Vučić knows this very well, there is no mother's son, no matter how Serbian he is, who would come out tomorrow, in the rain and snow, like back then, even if Amfilohije were resurrected, to march against Milatović or Bečić.
On the other hand, according to Vučić, it is not really in the interest of the citizens that Mandić succeeds Milo. It is not only a question of Andrija's political and national program, which is unacceptable to them, but also the fact that it is much easier to motivate voters on an anti-Milov platform than to have a reformed Mandić standing across from you, backed by the Serbian community. That is why the Democrats and PES are reluctantly silent on the DF's open offer of unconditional support in the second round.
Vučić is not nationally selfish. He sees the interests of Montenegrin sovereignists, it seems, better than they themselves. Because, if one of these two wins, there are no more ethnically endangered Serbs, and when there are no ethnically endangered and therefore rebellious Serbs, from whom will the committee defend courage and heroism and the thousand-year-old Montenegrin statehood?
It's easy for Vučić. He has Ustashas and Balijas, not to mention Albanians, in his eternal stockpile. And what will the independentists do? For them, the choice is narrow and limited to Serbs and Serbs, Chetniks and Church of Serbia. Well, there are also the Russian brothers, but we wasted them around that failed coup d'état.
That is why Montenegrin Montenegrins have to protect and cherish these and such Montenegrin Serbs as the apple of their eye.
Knowing all that, it was not difficult for Vučić to come to an adequate conclusion. Andrija can't, even less Jakov or Bečić.
In such a situation, the only solution remains - Milo, but who.
Đukanović is too experienced a politician not to recognize the saving opportunity that suddenly appeared to him after it became clear that Andrija could not step into the same Morača twice, and the citizens failed to agree on a single candidate who could have been a serious obstacle to Milo for the third term.
The interests of the Balkan Saurons coincided once again, and it was generously left to us, mere mortals, to confirm their will once again.
Is it a little?
