It is often written these days that Vladimir Putin for public appearances and meetings with the so-called he uses a doppelganger, or more, on ordinary people - he supposedly has a few in stock, which is not impossible, Russia is a huge country, and his parent company, the KGB, has a lot of experience in such matters, and the best film studio would envy it.
Experts and those who feel like this analyze the gestures and grimaces, facial expressions, manner of speaking and silence, and even the earlobes of different Putins, and draw bold conclusions about the number, subtypes and range of Putins, as well as the occasions in which the original Putin uses them: when he doesn't want to expose himself to danger, when he doesn't want to get hurt, when he doesn't want to kiss some Dagestani girl's hair...
There have always been stories, confirmed and unconfirmed legends, about ruler doubles, doubles and stuntmen, and I was most interested in this: what if some overly successful copy started claiming to be the real ruler?
There are probably some precautions for such cases... For example, Putin probably has some password that he says to the authorized person from the protocol, so it is known that he is the real Caliph (regardless of the fact that he is also Iznogud at the same time, but that's another story).
That's how it is, then, there (not enough) far in the east, because Russia is still an empire, albeit of the kind that are a permanent danger to themselves and others, since they never completed the process of socialization, as an important part of growing up and maturing.
With us, the circumstances are more provincial, we all seem to know each other personally, for us even one example of a person is sometimes more than we can bear. But still, I think it would be worth considering an idea.
From what we have seen so far, we could not conclude that Aleksandar Vučić could have a doppelganger, and it seems that the need for him is more and more urgent.
Vučić, who is not even factory-built from particularly high-quality and resistant material, has long been showing all the symptoms of severe "burnout", his reactions are increasingly uncontrollable, the words that come out of his mouth while speaking in an official, presidential capacity not only seduce the audience but and are seriously worrying experts of various profiles, etc.
All in all, the situation is extremely serious and there is not much time left to act before things go too far. Well, things have gone too far for a long time, but there's always further too far, and Vučić has shown no signs of slowing down so far, which doesn't bode well for any hope of a spontaneous recovery.
Vučić, therefore, urgently needs a doppelgänger who will not say scandalous things, will not run light years day and night beyond his constitutional powers in all possible directions, will not quarrel with its neighbors by experiencing private fixations and frustrations, will not divide Serbia into those good ones who are with him, and the scum and the scum who is not with him, will not embarrass himself and us with pathetic monologues worthy of a palanquin reciter with a serious narcissistic disorder... The list has only just begun, but you already know everything yourself.
Putin, therefore, may need a doppelgänger for self-protection - after all, being the head of a state in permanent half-emergence and half-disintegration, ruled by heavy, even nuclear-armed factions from all sides of the law, is certainly one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. The case with Vučić is much simpler. We need his doppelgänger first of all, but he wouldn't really hurt either.
Just imagine what possibilities would open up before him? He could, at fifty-something, enjoy life for the first time! To devote himself, for example, to spending the stocks of his carefully collected collection of expensive wines (without Istrian Malvasia), or to frolic in that villa with Tomislav and Dragica Nikolić.
After all, he would have something to learn from his predecessor: he was his own double and, well, he lacks nothing at all. Nobody even remembers him anymore, which is the greatest success for a former statesman in the Balkans who would like to live a peaceful and prosperous old age.
However, they just informed me that a citizen who looks very, very much like Vučić was spotted near Lapovo...
