"I am asking you to, using all the mechanisms at your disposal, investigate all my contacts with members of any criminal organization, and primarily with members of the Skaljar clan. Then, to determine the way in which I acquired the apartment, income and everything you think is necessary.. ."
Don't know what this is? Well, that's a passage from the criminal complaint that my colleague Jelena Jovanović submitted to the Special State Prosecutor's Office against - herself.
Why? Because, after three decades of moral stumbling, this madness of spreading lies, slander and insults must somehow be stopped...
In fact, madness is not the most appropriate word for this story, honorable people in public discourse do not establish medical diagnoses for others.
Especially not the way it was done to me a month ago, and to Željko Ivanović three days ago, by a long-lost organization, known to the public by the abbreviation DPS.
The bottom line, however, was the latest insolence with which Jelena was not only slandered and insulted, but also - accused.
And first of all for a serious crime: cooperation with organized crime by being the "main pen of investigative journalism of the Skaljar clan".
And then also for a serious violation not only of the journalistic but also of the moral code - that he takes money for certain texts.
That indictment was reported by all the media that the former regime considers relevant, as well as those of him...
Why did that group make such a move right now?
The first reason is the group portrait of state and mafia leaders from the Sky app, which - precisely thanks to Jelena - we have been horrified for weeks.
The second reason is DPS's traditional understanding of journalism, according to which it is not a free profession but a related trade and mafia business.
What is it - yes, some journalists' plumes bear an unbearable resemblance to the political-criminal elite from the group portrait. But that is no justification for the party's unprecedented effort to convince the public that different journalists do not exist...
My colleague Jelena asked the state institution for protection from such blind identification. We have yet to find out if he will get it.
Just in case, I would still prefer to protect myself with traditional Montenegrin methods.
And that according to an earlier recommendation of a state institution called - the President of Montenegro.
* * *
And why do I think that in Montenegro, the aforementioned traditional methods are more effective than prosecutorial methods?
Well, from the experience of the already mentioned Skaljar clan. Tragic, unfortunately, for several families, one of which does not tie me to just the last name.
The last of them - the murder of Jovan Vukotić - was explained in detail on the Sky application and is relevant evidence that the Montenegrin police-mafia arm of revenge reached Istanbul.
From official but also friendly conversations between the representatives of the two state institutions of the former regime - the police and the mafia - it could be concluded that the motive for that revenge lies in those 200 kilograms of cocaine from Valencia.
The indictment handed over to the Istanbul court by the Turkish Public Prosecutor's Office includes 16 people, and the conflict between the Skaljar and Kavak clans is mentioned as the motive for the murder.
We will find out at the end of the process whether the court in Istanbul will confirm it...
What has been known for years is that Jovan Vukotić was not only in conflict with "bars" but also with some high-ranking police officers.
- The police are full of criminals with badges, who are on the payroll of mafia bosses. Thanks to that, innocent people die in Montenegro every day, because dirty policemen clean the area only for their friends and that's the only thing they care about - said Vukotić in an interview with Vijest in December 2016.
From then until today, the public has no knowledge of how far the investigation into his claims went, if it was even initiated.
* * *
And there were many more reasons for the investigation than this one.
- I know which of the assistant directors of the Police Administration takes 20.000 euros a month from criminals and which police chief took 100.000 euros from criminals. I also know which inspector has been on the mafia's payroll for four years...
- The system is powerless to deal with all that, because there are dozens of corrupt high-ranking policemen - criminals in it. They help all this crime, plot, hide murderers...
- These are proven players, deeply involved in these activities. They have been known for years for who they are, but this recognition does not force them out of office. They are trying to get a better position and make more money...
- One of the police officers claims that he is a long-time friend of one of the famous current leaders of the enemy group, which is trying in every way to dominate Montenegro and the region...
- I know the name of the ANB agent who cooperates with members of the blacksmith clan, conspirators by service and communicates with some media. I also know which of the media is financed by the cartel and which is in charge of spitting, lying and making fun of people's destinies and lives. But those ideas won't work for them, because we don't live in Italy...
- I may not have to be alive, there will be someone else who will deny them that...
All this and much more was said by Jovan Vukotić seven and a half years ago. How true, to guess from the Sky application.
He is no longer among the living, but it turned out to be true that someone else will be found to stop the police-mafia cooperation...
* * *
Unfortunately, the Special Prosecutor's Office was unable to find evidence of that cooperation for years... Until Europol started delivering them, but in vain because they languished in drawers until almost...
Couldn't the prosecutors do their job while Ivica Stanković and Milivoje Katnić were at the head of VDT and SDT?
Okay, the executive and legislature were understanding, they found ways to retire them.
The next obstacle to the fight against organized crime and high corruption was - low wages.
Well, they will be high enough for smooth work, both branches of government, already at odds, promised in unison, and - salaries have risen.
Then it turns out that the special prosecutor lacks the associates he considers the best.
That's right, that request has been met.
Well, when all that was done, the prosecutor's office requested - a bigger building.
We understand, it's really cramped in the old one, said the government. And she offered that, immediately after the eviction of the DPS, the prosecutors would move into that more than spacious building near the Blažovo bridge.
Well, its name is a bit inappropriate, Two Coffins... In any case, only one was enough for the DPS to end Montenegro... By the way, that party is no longer in power, whatever the name of the building, the prosecutors in it are not in any danger ...
But, the internal layout does not suit us, we are looking for a thorough renovation - they responded to the offer...
It's too expensive, said Vlada when her film finally broke.
And one cartoon came back to my memory... The one about the black chicken who is always missing something...
Well, that's an injustice, shouted the most famous chicken of my early childhood at least a dozen times in every episode...
Kalimero is now sixty years old, I haven't seen him on TV for a long time, I don't know if others still blame him for everything...
* * *
Well, a program on TV reminded me of that unlucky chicken and its scream because of injustice...
Well, that's an injustice, except that the Prosecutor's Council almost screamed defending the prosecutors from "pressure from the executive and legislative authorities"...
I didn't really understand what kind of pressure it was, I only know that neither the Supreme, nor the Special, nor any of the higher and basic prosecutor's offices complained about that pressure before August 30, 2020.
And not that they were suppressed, but suppressed so much that for three decades we didn't even know they existed, unless one of the prosecutors made some kind of public scandal...
In the era of the former regime, journalists, educators, doctors, writers, engineers were also oppressed... But the professionals among them did not succumb to that fear, nor did they agree to pressure, threats and blackmail...
On the contrary, they protested publicly, spoke to the media, took to the streets...
The prosecutors were silent all this time.
And only those who paid for their silence have the right to say: Well, that's injustice!
And that's why I really like the answer regarding prosecutors' complaints about political pressure.
- If the body that should prosecute the perpetrators of the most serious crimes is unable to deal with criticism from politicians, we wonder how it will deal with other types of influence on their work - said the Ministry of Justice.
And I wouldn't have anything to add...
* * *
He added, unfortunately, the former head of SDT, Milivoje Katnić. But not an explanation for decades of inactivity, but - gas...
- I slightly exceeded the speed at the place where the criminal clans planned to liquidate me, so I shudder from that place - he tried to be funny, although the drivers who were going to meet him were certainly not laughing.
The fine he received is no laughing matter either - the lowest possible of 150 euros for driving more than twice as fast as the legal limit.
- If I pay in the short term, it can be lower - it was like a finger in the eye of drivers who are fined by the courts for 300 or 400 euros...
And then the former prosecutor fell low.
- I am especially sorry for the reporter of Vijesta Jelena Jovanović, who was the first to report that I was arrested - he tried to avoid the truth by using the full line.
And that of the weather, which says that the news of his arrest was first published by the portal borba.me.
A few minutes later, at 13.32:XNUMX p.m., similar information appeared on rtcg.me.
The news was only the third, Katnić's speeding was registered at 13.35:XNUMX pm...
- When she found out that I was only punished for a misdemeanor, she spilled tears down the gentleman's face. Fortunately, the old Montenegrin custom of scratching the face in a tragedy was abolished, so her beautiful face remained intact - he slipped on the first curve, trying to turn towards Jelena as soon as possible...
And why did Milivoje Katnić, unprovoked, pounce on her?
Well, just in case...
It happens from time to time... So that the heroes of her feuilleton don't forget whose side Kata is on, they wanted to give him a gun...
