Everything that happens in the socio-political reality of this country has become a mere entertainment activity, so to speak, a grand show for the poor, who refuse to be liked or disliked. In other words, while under the grain and behind the hills, new scams are constantly being prepared to devastate and disintegrate the state, its meaning and reason for existence, tons and tons of content are spilled into the public space every day, whose sole purpose is to deceive, to divert from the crucial problems of existence and general dumbing down. In addition to the ubiquitous fear, its manipulation and ethno-national narratives, it is the image and (non)opportunity of all our efforts and longings. Everything that is tried to be done here, to be moved, everything that is positively solved and happens, is swept away in no time by that machine for grinding reason. It is so structured, its essential purpose is to demolish and dismantle, leaving every time a new feeling of hopelessness that fills every pore of a different model of coexistence and building life here, on the basis of which will not be until obscurity plunged into insecurity and permanent collective neurosis.
As a consequence of this, we have a servile public, provincialized culture, illiterate generations raised on mono-ethnic exclusivity, xenophobic perception of the other, palanquin consciousness and all the other sorrows of the narcissism of small differences. In them, however, stupidity prevails the most, it is the roof construction of everything that is based on this country through the spheres of politics and its associated nomenclature. Politics in Bosnia and Herzegovina is so far removed from the citizens, its purpose and essence that it is in no way different from the reality shows that keep the masses paralyzed in their brains, not allowing them to finally see what is essentially good and important for them. The creation of a parallel reality, separated from the natural flows of life, a reality in which the only mode of action is to bury the combustible contents of unrest and conflict, has produced zombie citizens, who, like flies without a head, if they have not fled far, far away, transmit those malignant masses that they are injected from party cabinets into every movement and every attempt to act on different principles. Today, almost three decades after the end of the war, we are a deeply sick society, divided by all principles, powerless to find any civilizational purpose. On that bare ground, on those ruins of our misfortune, sand towers are built, smoke bombs of pomp and exclusivity are thrown, and what we are left with is a big nothing. A space emptied of essence and content, of the desire and effort to at least try to find a different path.
The protest around the monument to King Tvrtek, which will turn out to be a temporary protest directed by the mayor of Sarajevo, is one example of how politicians, regardless of their nominal affiliation, have no taste, no knowledge, and no awareness of their own role in social and cultural issues. Pulling out a person from the distant past, in order to prove something today, is an old method of populist party chimeras. When you don't have something you've created yourself, when you don't know where you're hitting and which way you're going, it's enough to bury yourself in the dust and muck of history and there it is, there's proof of how, wow, wow, wow, we used to be powerful and great. The fact that once, even though we have no idea about it, maybe we were like that, today means absolutely nothing because now we are lacking both our past and our present. In order for things to change, it is necessary to take some own action, basking in the past for which we have no merit is dull and pointless. Of course, it wasn't even an hour late, but announcements have already arrived from another entity, that they will hit their monument there because they are shouting that it is theirs. And we have what we have.
If we add to the above the case that one of the members of the BiH Presidency was seen these days with his wife at the so-called To the Bosnian pyramid of the sun, we have collective insanity, which shows that in key places in this country there are actually clowns who are unable to distinguish between what is a state and what is not a state. While in the entity they make Petr Kočić a scarecrow for international representatives - tearing him out of context, from what he was, and he was a fighter against every oppressive government, including the government that Dodik tries to attach to Kočić's honorable name - the member of the BiH Presidency is probably trying to prove with his pyramid journey that tomorrow instead of Tvrtko in front of the Presidency, we may find some pharaoh. But, who knows, the roads of Bosnia and Herzegovina are strange. The fact that museums and other cultural institutions are failing us, that those who are supposed to preserve this heritage are not aware of it itself, that is already a story that made us bare our teeth. So give us pyramids and kings and everything will be fine. Until we disappear.
