Within the framework of the socio-political reality we live in, in this soap bubble, into which the same poisons of ethno-national vapors that we have been remembering for decades are permanently injected, little is directed in the direction of efforts to understand what is really happening to us. In other words, after the bloody period of the nineties of the last century, we did not make even the minimum of necessary confrontations through which we could reach some kind of social catharsis. Everything that was present in the narratives of the nationalist barbariculum remained the pillar of our existence and our only constant from which we do not deviate at any cost. For the third decade, this has been stretching over our heads, the same concepts from which all our misfortunes arose are being crushed, and society is being pushed below the minimum point of coexistence.
The creation of three completely separate clans, disinherited from any sense of community, has produced a series of generations brought up in political gentrification where disintegration is the only point where everyone agrees and meets. Viewed in this way, it could be said without hesitation that nobody really cares about this country. I am not referring here to the country as a territory, or even as a state, but as a cultural concept of sameness that connects us and refers us to each other for centuries. Without that minimum vision of life, of its future development directions, all other efforts, pretensions and conflicts lose their purpose and meaning.
Very few real actions and initiatives come from our effort to change something in this community. We are constantly waiting for someone to do something for us, for someone to remember that we exist. However, trapped in narcissistic visions that someone somewhere is really taking care of us, when we are already unable to pull ourselves together, as a collective we almost completely miss the opportunity to see the bigger picture of the changes and shifts happening in the world around us. Regardless of the availability of information, the possibility of observing the global process of the new bloc division and what it entails, we do not draw any lessons from this, nor do we see the possibility of our own positioning in circumstances when the entire planet is inexorably changing. Instead of the seed of some authentic opportunity and a small corner of stability for us, as a society we have already at the first steps sunk into the same living mire of malignant provocations and incitement as we know from past decades.
So, we have learned absolutely nothing, we have not managed to create at least a framework of conditions for all these years so that some generations that come after us do not encounter the basic frictions that are happening to us. The vicious cycle of inciting intolerance, under which runs the tunnel of politicians' feeding of all the remaining resources at our disposal, is renewed with clear intentions, so that life here will always remain suffocated by fear, restraint of freedom and manipulation of the painful wounds of common traumas.
We have chosen to live in such a society and it seems that it does not concern us as a collective, nor does it concern us. The reactions that the citizens of this country take mainly refer to that part of the population that serves the party headquarters, they are loud, they carry out diversions and stage conflicts, everyone else agreed to the blackmail that it is better to deal with their lives and pretend that everything else around us does not exist . As it were, the multi-year strategy of the ostrich is on stage. Ignorance, the inability to face ourselves, with the circumstances in which we exist or may not already exist. In the words of Slavoj Žižek in the text "Freedom without justice": "If we think that things will fall into place by themselves if we let them take their course, we will end up with multiple disasters, from ecological collapse and the rise of authoritarianism, to social chaos and disintegration."
