Just enough that one almost forgets the bottom that some of their highest officials are at the head of Milo Đukanović touched in relation to the journalists who criticize them, and especially to the journalists of Vijesti - which in some cases led to difficult, even the most difficult consequences for those journalists - when the heroic statement arrives, signed by imagine, the entire "Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro Above”.
The main character in the announcement is the president of the High Court, "subordinate to every government" (meaning they admit that he was also theirs, but they didn't label it as such at the time), Boris Savić, but the writer of the announcement put the Vijesti journalist in the foreground and in the headline, accusing her of anything and everything, including being close to the Škaljar clan, participating in the BIA (Snajka) cartel, and other nefarious things, "among other things".
Jelena Jovanović has long been the target of a shameful campaign by the old and newly established DPS media and their journalists, who every now and then slander her in a similar way, thinking that they will defend the fallen champions of the DPS judiciary, the prosecution, the police, the secret service, or somehow destroy everything she is about. it is written to them. Which, as in the case Marovic, write mostly about where Vijesti knows something, and very little or nothing about what Vijesti is writing about. Admittedly, Marović's crime has been written about as real for several years, since he "switched to the Chetniks" in Belgrade.
In her texts, Jelena Jovanović debunks almost daily the downfall of Montenegro in the jaws of criminal clans, which happened during the 30-year DPS rule, and not in the last three years, as Živković, Vuković, Eraković, Damjanović and Dizdarević claim. Exactly that of the judiciary and the police and the secret service, who did not want to solve even the most serious attacks on journalists since 2004, when he was killed Dusko Jovanovic.
The former formal leadership of the DPS - which still cannot be contradicted in the party without being declared a traitor, says former Đukanović's deputy - must be very bothered by this detailed exposure of arrogant state officials who are accused or suspected of working for criminals in the party or outside of it, or with them, instead of arresting, charging or convicting them. Because it's all getting dangerously close...
But I don't know why it would bother Živković, Vuković, Eraković, Damjanović and Dizdarević, that is, the new "reformed" leadership of the strongest opposition party. Why is the signature of the party they lead behind slandering and targeting journalists? Well, even the deputy does not like the party's rhetoric Janović, we heard yesterday.
It could be that these five do it willingly, that is, they still agree with the boss that everything would flourish here if there weren't a few media and journalists, so for example they gave the green light for such an announcement at the emergency session of the presidency. Or the "spokesman of the party", as one former long-time ally calls them, does not ask at all what goes out from it to the public in its name. Or Živković, Vuković, Eraković, Damjanović and Dizdarević were simply kidnapped.
As long as the five do not publicly announce what it is, or until they blink, let's be serious, I will consider that it is the first, that is, that they have not moved an inch from the old Đukanović matrix, "insult, slander, beat, kill the messenger, and mine will ( private) state other".
I hope that this can never be done again in such an organized manner and with impunity in Montenegro, and above all that nothing bad will ever happen to Jelena Jovanović or any journalist.
